There are two methods in application
a) One way is by heating and melting method.Heat the polyethylene film of the membrane and roof deck surface by heating and melting method to be nearly melted (not flowing),then install the membrane filly bonded to the roof deck with overlaps of 5-10cm.
b) The other way is by cold adhesive method.Pour the cold adhesive homogeneously on the roof deck, then roll the membrane to install it to be fully sticked to roof deck.
By heating and melting method and by cold adhesive can be used in alternation in application as requested.
c)After application,a full serious inspection is required to sure no air bubble,no falling away.etc. to guarantee the waterproof life.
Attentions for construction
Construction shall not be carried out in rain, snow or over 5 degree wind weather; Thereshall be sufficient safety protective facilities in construction site, place firefighting devices according to stipulations
1)Clean the substrate using broom or high pressure dusty cleaner
2)Apply primer
3)Heat the membrane bottom using a high temperature flame gun
4)Push forward while the primer and membrane oil melted
5)Use a roller to push hard the membrane surface to ensure it stick firmly

- Q: I just moved into a 1st floor/basement apartment. Its currently has tile floors wich are nice but are extremely cold to walk on in the winter. I was thinking about putting carpet down until I stumbled across carpet tiles in home depot. Since im renting I dont want to damage the current ceramic tile floor, should I lay down regular carpet or use carpet tiles? I don't care about grout lines and i dont want anything glued to the floor. It doesnt need to be the best job I will more then likely do it myself. If I lay regular carpet do I need padding? Or if I use carpet tiles, what kind of barrier should I have between the current floor and the carpet to proctect the ceramic tiles?
- Rolled carpet would be a better choice. Carpet tile would be difficult to vacuum if it was not glued down. For the same reason you couldn't put carpet pad under carpet squares. Carpet pad will help with warmth and also help reduce the tile grout joints from showing through to the carpet surface. Carpet pad is not structural, but it should help at least for a while. Think about your door bottom clearance. Do you have enough space between the bottom of your doors to add carpet?

- If okorder / I use the great value brand of cleaner that WalMart carries for my steam vac, it's located with the steam vacs. I get the one for pets, it works good for general traffic and it makes the house smell fresh.

- you'll okorder . honestly though i'd get a small bottle and test a corner before investing in a whole rug, cause the chemicals to do dark colors like this can get seriously expensive since it can take two or three dips to do it. good luck!
- Q: The carpet guy came to our house and measured our room out the other day, and said to put the baseboards in after. I read on a lot of sites to do the base boards first. Is the carpet company asking us to do it this way so its easier for them? Should we put baseboards in first even though they say not to?
- No way. Baseboards, or skirting boards in the UK, are put down first. I'd be a bit worried about any carpet fitters who were either so lazy or so incompetant that they would try to persuade you to put the baseboards in last just to save them the normal task of cutting the carpet accurately to the baseboard. Unless you are having some kind of modern plastic baseboard that just sticks or clips on, it is a nonsense to put wood baseboards in second. Put the baseboards in first, paint them fully, let the paint harden a few days, and make the carpet fitters exercise due diligence when fitting the carpets - as any credible fitter will. (and there is no reason for them to mark the walls either when they fit the carpet, except negiligence and accidents.) (maybe it's done differently in the US, but I'd like to see the carpet pulled out in the future having been stapled and skirting board put over the top - fitting wooden skirting boards is a fully skilled job for a carpenter or competent builder, there are angles and levels involved, then there is filler and various coats of paint, you just don't do this after fitting new carpet and you don't trap new carpet under skirting board - you might leave the final coat of gloss until after the carpet has been laid. )
