There are two methods in application
a) One way is by heating and melting method.Heat the polyethylene film of the membrane and roof deck surface by heating and melting method to be nearly melted (not flowing),then install the membrane filly bonded to the roof deck with overlaps of 5-10cm.
b) The other way is by cold adhesive method.Pour the cold adhesive homogeneously on the roof deck, then roll the membrane to install it to be fully sticked to roof deck.
By heating and melting method and by cold adhesive can be used in alternation in application as requested.
c)After application,a full serious inspection is required to sure no air bubble,no falling away.etc. to guarantee the waterproof life.
Attentions for construction
Construction shall not be carried out in rain, snow or over 5 degree wind weather; Thereshall be sufficient safety protective facilities in construction site, place firefighting devices according to stipulations
1)Clean the substrate using broom or high pressure dusty cleaner
2)Apply primer
3)Heat the membrane bottom using a high temperature flame gun
4)Push forward while the primer and membrane oil melted
5)Use a roller to push hard the membrane surface to ensure it stick firmly
- Q: I recently moved a couch and chair which was in the same position for 3 years on carpet. Any suggestions how to raise up the indent that is in the carpet. Thank you.
- Depends on the type of carpet you have but there are two tricks that generally work. The 1st way is to set an ice cube(s) on the indent. Carefully work up the pile as the cube melts, A hair pick works well for doing this. The other trick ( if you have a heat set carpet fiber) is to CAREFULLY inject steam into the dent. Use an iron and do steam on the dent as you work at the fibers with a hair pick. You can also put a damp hand towel ( very warm water) on the dent along with a steam injected into the dent. Extreme care must be used doing it this way as not to melt the carpet fibers. Any questions you can e mail me through my avatar. GL

- It won t dry by itself for a long time. A couple options use a wet / dry vac as suggested to get up excess..You ll have to pull back carpet( remove furniture) and you may very well have to replace the padding. Ive never seen a pad( other than rubber) survive a flood. You need to get to the sub floor and get that to dry or its possible a mold will form. Second suggestion is to get a flood restoration company that specializes in this . They have to equipment to suck up the water and dry carpet GL

- Art, you need to check and see what is under the carpet. If she has shag, then it is really old, as this was popular in the 1960's-70's. If there are hardwood floors underneath, be prepared to rent a floor sander, as it will surely need to be refinished. She may want to stain the hardwood. Go to Home Depot or to Lowes for advice on this. If no kids, hardwood is better appearance than shag carpet, but is a matter of taste, too. Be sure that there are no squeeks in the floor, too. - Don't use it in your carpet cleaner. The sales associate is clueless. Nature's Best is an enzyme destroyer. It's used to pull animal urine out of carpets and underlay. To work properly, the product is applied LIBERALLY to the area, using enough to completely soak the carpet and underlay all the way down to the subfloor. As it dries, it pulls the ammonia from the urine out of the carpet and carpet pad. Most carpet cleaners do not spray enough liquid to totally soak through the carpet AND underlay. And the enzymes work as they dry.. It's a waste of money to suck up all of the product you just put on the carpet to clean out the odor. I'd suggest using Nature's Miracle first. After a few days, when the product has finished working and there is no more odor, steam clean your carpets as you normally would to clean them.

- We just purchased a new carpet for our home, I had never purchased one new before either. The one we got was a Mohawk brand with stain guard on it. Make sure the seller at the carpet place explains the yarn count to you too. This makes a big difference in carpet. Also when buying a padding for underneath the carpet, we bought a platinum one because of the high traffic here and we wanted a little cushion on the floors.
