Q:I'm shopping for a Good-quality vacuum cleaner for my home.I'm replacing the worn-out bagless / upright Dirt Devil(r) unit that my sister bought for me sometime ago. lt;-I find that this unit simply does not CLEAN as well as I want / need it with the suction pulling-in from the side of the beater-brush. (I find that this unit only quot;cleansin 2-inch lines at the intake-side of the brush-head. :-(Considering my shopping (location) options and unit brands; I find HOOVER, DIRT DEVIL, and SHARK at my Wally World at a price-range of $49.00 -gt; 285.00I am considering to also shop / browse at my local KIRBY location.Am I correct to presume that a vacuum cleaner with suction from the Center of the brush-head cleans better than a unit that pulls from the side - or should I expect a unit with a stronger brush-head to clean my carpet and tile surfaces better?And how VALUABLE is a detachable hand-held pipe to my new vacuum cleaner when I have no indoor upholstery?: Royal (they look old fashioned) but are very quality. You need to look online, they are not sold at places like Target or Home Depot. Similar in quality is Oreck, they are also not sold in typical stores. Both start at around $200 or $250.

Q:I just bought a Kirby Sentria and was wondering if I had been taken. Price was $2100 and I got it for $1395 with two old vaccums. Guess I was concerned, other than the price, that there is virtually no ratings on other sites about how good a Kirby is against other vacuums.: Online with Consumer reports. Personally, I have a Kirby. They are not worth what they want for them. The vacumm is great and does a great job. But, the shampooer isn't all that. It puts down the shampoo but it doesn't pick up the dirt left behind nor does it suck th water back up which is needed to get rid of the dirt. i got a bissel and love it. You would be better off getting a bissel and a much cheaper vacumm. Save your money.

I understand it's a little more than you wanted to spend; but, it is such a great vacuum I had to tell you a/b it! It is a bagged vacuum the upright variety. This bagged vacuum is fantastic to keep the dust contained and to suction like no other one we've had before. We've read all the reviews a/b the Dyson and I believe this one is as good in suction or better. After 1.5 years of use, it's still going strong and I have a family with 3 young children!!

Bissel allergy one with the canister that you empty...It does not vacuum well at all, I can pick up stuff off the carpets better that the that. And then I bought a eureka vacuum from costco, not only is it hard to push, 4 months the screw came off the handle and is in the vaccum itself.....It is supposed to be industrial, and it is with a bag....and NEVER ever have I seen such scrap....I have new carpets so that is not the problem here...I also have pets....I do not want a tyson 3000 or whatever they are called...although they say they are good, and after what I have spent in these 2 vacuums I should have bought the tyson...So any suggestions or what you like would be appreciated...I am just fed up with picking up JUNK :PThanks you all..: I okorder /. Invented by another british inventor. They put the motor closer to the vacuum head so it wont loose any suction. plus its cordless.
