Q: like, taking 2 vacuum cleaners and taking off the rectangular part from each of the tubes and then putting the open ends against each other so they would be sucking each other. just curious, lol.
This question is rated X.
Q: My vacuum cleaner makes my house smell every time I use it. Its a brand new vacuum. I've tried vacuuming up baking soda but that didn't work. Please help.
First see if you need a new bag or to empty out the collection area. Rather than baking soda at the food store in the cleaning area they should have stuff you can shake on your floor then vacuum up. Mom did this once and it smelled good for a few weeks after too each time she vaccumed.
Q: How to repair the starting switch of vacuum cleaner?
Check the wires to make sure they are properly connected to the switch
Q: I want all the details
I once, many yrs ago, went through the 'training' course for Kirby and on the first day on the job, a few of us drove to an apt. complex and headed for doors with 6 'free' steak knifes and our jumbo box of crap to show our potential 'victims' The poor elderly gentleman had hard wood floors throughout his place and we found something in common to talk about other than the Kirby. In short, my 'supervisor' came in and strarted to demand the man that he needed one no questions asked! Well, instead of me hitting my 'boss' I quit on the spot and the p**** made me walk home about 10 miles away! Don't work for these scondrels if you want to remain yourself and not some pushhy dirtbag!
Q: How much did he earn last week if his sales totaled $3200?
Homework's called HOMEwork for a reason, not YAHOOANSWERwork. Come on man, you'll regret it later when you don't get the work in class.
Q: what is the best bagged vacuum cleaner? I'm tired of the bagless cleaners and looking for one with a bag.?

Q: how is bagless an improvement over the old fashioned vacuum cleaners with bags? I hate having to deal with the filth that comes out of the bagless machines. What was wrong with the bags? Am I missing something here?
I love mine! I will ABSOLUTELY NEVER own a bagged vacuum ever again! I do understand the dust issue, but I've found that dumping it out creates a minimal mess, which is contained in a small area around my garbage bin. That gets cleaned up when I sweep the kitchen floor. What was wrong with the bags? The one in the machine was always full, and I never had replacements. Buying them was a huge process, because they were never available in anywhere near convenient. I always had to go to the department store where I purchased the vacuum cleaner, or a specialty store to find them. And making sure I got the right ones was also a hassle...did I need type J, or was that the last vacuum cleaner we had? Maybe it's type I. For me, the small amount of dust created in emptying the can is well worth the opportunity to vacuum whenever I need (as opposed to whenever I could, depending on whether or not the bag was full). The good news is that bagged vacuum cleaners are still readily available. If the bagless doesn't work for you, then shop for a bagged option that does. :) Edit: Hmmm...I was just reading the link that AdamG provided. It, too, suggests that bagless machines create a horrible dusty mess if emptied inside. This makes me wonder if it's a brand-specific issue, 'cause I have definitely not had that problem. There's a small (less than 2-feet across) dust cloud that's created when I bang the filter against the inside of the garbage bin, but most of that settles inside the garbage bin (and again, the rest is easily cleaned up later). Do y'all find that you're getting more dust than that?
Q: HOLA! i have one of those kirby vacuum cleaners. Unfortunately i'm out of filter bags or vacuum cleaner bags. I don't want to buy online so can someone tell me where i can buy them. Like walmart or sumthin. They have to be kirby bags, nto just any old vacuum cleaner bag. THANKS
I have had a Kirby for twenty years and the only time I had a belt break was when something got wrapped around the brush and stopped it and when the bearings at the end of the brush seized. The bearings seized because of hair getting past the end caps and jamming them. I fixed it by removing the brush from the housing, pulling the end caps off and removing the hair. This took sometime as there's not much room between the roller and bearing. Once I had the bearing rotating again I used a needle to carefully prize the rubber seal from the bearing and get some grease into the bearing and replacing the seal. It's a fiddly time consuming job but I got it done. I presume yours has a little light on the head to tell you that the brush is turning. If so then that is due to a small magnet on one end of the brush roller passing a coil mounted in the housing. If the light doesn't work after you put it back together then you have the roller in the wrong way round. Don't listen to those others, I still think it's the best vacuum cleaner I've had.
Q: I need to buy a new vacuum because the dirt devil I have doesnt work. I would like some feedback before I buy a new one. I'm looking to spend around $100 dollars. Any preferred models or brands?
At that dollar limit you will not get anything real good. Spend the extra money and get a Riccar.
Q: I don't know, they just suck.
Of course, when they're at their best they simply suck, and when they don't work properly, they still suck... reminds me of the schools...
