- Q:The cockpits of the planes, vacuum cleaners, home appliances, interior of the old cars literally everywhere
- I suspect that blue and red paints were ones of the few things that managed to manufacture in high quantity and reasonable quality. Yellow and green colors sure looked dirty. White might look fine originally but soon became dirty from an actual dirt. If they would paint their planes red it would be a. silly b. too in your face as export of the revolution when such plane would land in other countries It leaves them with blue color only. They had red flag painted on the tail of their planes though.
- Q:I have two pembroke welsh corgis who shed like crazy and bare floors (no carpet at all). I am looking for a great, affordable vacuum that does not collect hair in the bristles on the bottom of the vacuum but actually sucks it up into the machine. HEPA included preferably since I suffer from allergies to a ridiculous amount of indoor allergens. Any suggestions of good or even bad vacuum cleaners to buy would be great! Thanks :)
- My Oreck does great on both carpet and hard flooring, but it is not a cheap vacuum. On the other hand, it has lasted me something like 15 years and still works like new, so in the long run it is probably worth the price.
- Q:I want to gift my mom a vacuum cleaner. What are the main features i must look before buying and what are the advanced premium features? Also, which company's Vacuum cleaners are best (India). Can you suggest any model?usage : 1000 sq.ft house... daily cleaningThanks
- Hoover or Nilfisk :) (nilfisch is more expensive but are good)
- Q:I have a one-year old and lots of crumbs on my floor that our vacuum won't pick up. We currently have a bag less Bissell and I hate it. We've replaced all the filters and cleaned it but it still hardly picks up a thing. It leaves little hair balls on our carpet and kicks dust back in the air. I have to open the windows every time I vacuum so we can breathe! We're looking to get a new vacuum and I am interested in any brand and reviews you can recommend. My parents have had an Electrolux for 10+ years and it works great. However, the price tag ($500) is a little much for me. I'd also rather not go bag less again. Any suggestions?
- I have a Dyson and wouldn't recommend it. Lots of money for a cheap piece of plastic. The brush doesn't get into the carpet, just skims the surface. As far as suction goes, I have a kenmore that does a better job and contains the dust. The Dyson dust catcher is messy to empty and dust flies wherever you empty it. Also, the Dyson requires constant maintenance in removing pet hair attached to the brush and through the chambers. Hair and dust don't always make it to the chamber. If you have any problems with the Dyson, (mine broke after 6 months of use) you have to send it off and wait 4 - 6 weeks for it's return. My suggestion to you is buy a hepa filtered vacuum with or without bags. You'll save money and get a better built product.
- Q:Is there a term for phobia of vacuum cleaners?
- vacuum phobia vacuum cleaner phobia dust-free phobia? suction phobia? dysonphobia? !*you can come up with your own*! ;)
- Q:Has anyone or does anyone work for Rainbow Vacuum cleaner company? If so, is it worth working there. Would it be a good part-time job? Im just looking to make a little extra money? What is the experience like? Please give me details?
- I did a lot of years ago, they expect you to sell all of your family friends, and then you run out of scutomers, and out of a job, overpriced, overated, find something else to do!
- Q:Are there any upright vacuum cleaners you like thats under $100 and is not bag less?
- Buy re-built one like Clayton said. You'll get more bang for the buck.
- Q:The pool pump is broken at the moment, can I substitute that with a sump pump?
- Sump Vacuum
- Q:I just received my grandmas old old, quot; The Ultimate Kirby Diamond Edition vacuumand dont kow what to do with it.It has never been used even the cord has never been unwound. My dad says that it was once worth round 2000 but now is worthless. It also has a bunch of attachments..Any ideas on what to do with it???
- If you don't want it, put it up on okorder under free stuff. I guarantee someone will want it for scrap or to try and restore.
- Q:Our vacuum cleaner brush roller is not working. My husband has already tried to fix it himself, but he can't find out what's wrong. We've already replaced the belts and the brush roller doesn't seem to be worn down or missing any pieces. Does anyone have any idea how much it might cost to get it fixed if I take it into a vacuum repair shop? The vacuum is only a year old and everything else works fine, the roller just isn't rolling.
- This may sound silly, but it happened to me. Our vacuum brush roller stopped working, too. Turned out that the sliding switch that gave the bare floor/carpet option wasn't fully engaged. If you have a switch like that, check it. Also, if you still have the manual for it you may want to check under the troubleshooting section or look on their website. At any rate, I take my vacuum cleaners to Sears for repairs. It usually runs me $60.00 - $80.00, depending on the problem. You may want to shop around. Ask people in your area who they go to. Sears is more expensive, but they're reputable and stand behind their work. Hope this helps!
