- Q:Okay after installing Deus Ex on a brand new PS3 slim I pressed the start button and when the screen went black the console hanged, I couldn't even press the PS button, at the suggestion of a friend I yanked the power cable. Now it works fine but I'm wary of putting Deus Ex back in, I doubt that its regioning since there's no such thing. Any ideas and troubleshooting solutions?BTW what are the consequences to yanking the power cable.
- If pulling the power cord was the *only* way to turn it off, that's ok, you just don't want to do it frequently. As for the game itself, the only thing I can think of is to make sure other games work. If so, then something about the game itself is causing the fault, but not sure what. If anything, I would say contact Sony for assistance in that regard.
- Q:hey guys, i recently bought a new desktop computer however when i unpacked it and put it all together i discovered that i had not received a power cable for the tower. i discovered an old one in the mess that is my bottom drawer and was wandering does it matter what power cable is used for the tower? or are there different power cables for different PSU's?
- As long as it fits, it should work.
- Q:My power cord for my computer and all usb cables i have seen have these cylindrical things on them. What do they do?
- Those are called ferrites. You can learn more about them from a company called Fair-rite (I put their link down below). A ferrite is really nothing more than a magnet, but one specially tuned depending on the frequency of signal running down the cable, or the current if the cable is a power cable. Electro magnetic interference (EMI) is all around us, especially with all the electronic devices we have running in the modern home. EMI flies through the air and, when it contacts something metalic, it runs along that metalic line. In the case of a cable, imagine the clean signal picking up fuzz as it runs down the line. That's pretty much what happens. A ferrite stops the fuzz from getting through to the end of the cable, thus making the signal much cleaner when the end device gets to it. On a power cord, the ferrite helps prevent too much EMI from leaking out at the end and interfering with the device that the power is for. I should mention that a ferrite is always optional on a line, in other words the cable will work without one. However, ferrites aren't expensive and they do help with the signal, so most companies will just add one on to the product just in case.
- Q:Can I do the big 3 upgrade by only doing the 2 ground cables(battery to chassis and engine block to chassis) now and doing the power to the alternator at another time? Will this give me a little performance boost until I can get enough material?
- Yes, that is fine. That is what i did in my car because it was a pain to get to the alt and i had a new one on the way. My voltage was dropping to around 13 volts before i upgraded the two grounds and after it never dropped much past 13.5. It is more of a problem to upgrade power cable and not the grounds, not to upgrade grounds and not power.
- Q:Does anyone know if this PSU comes with a power cord/cable? I can't find an answer for this.
- Psus usually come with one, if not the cable is universal and is dirt cheap
- Q:I have had to replace my Dell power cable a few times, got lucky the first few times with friends that had old ones they could give me, but this time I had to buy one and couldn't find a Dell brand cable (didn't bother me, they are terrible quality) Instead I found one on OKorder that named my model under the ones it would work for, and it got decent reviews.I got it a few days ago and has been working fine, but the other day when I turned it on it came up and said quot;A Dell power cord is not being recognized...and some other stuff. Now when I was watching some hulu and was readjusting the cable the screen went black and was making a quot;tickinglike sound in my headphones. The battery was fully charged, so its not like that died.So my question is... are there any dangers of using an off-brand cable? Was the hulu issue caused by the cable? Thanks!
- There are many Reasons 1- your battery is dead 2- your battery is not connected 3- if you can work with your laptop when you plug in the charger your charger is valid otherwise check the cable check power cord in other laptop If battery charge Then problem In Your laptop battery You have to replace it
- Q:What can I use for a power cable? Need a new one and I am not sure what to get. Could you send a link to one please?
- Looks OK for the price.
- Q:What is the power cable accessories used to do?
- Shield For uniform conductive wire and insulated electric field, 6kV and above in the high-voltage power cables generally have a conductive shield and insulation shield, part of the low-voltage cable is not set shield
- Q:I just bought it!
- Why would the power cable make noise? It's just a cable.
- Q:What is the parallel use of the power cable
- Do not know what you want to ask? What about your situation? Normal or pregnant? Normal this radiation does not affect what, if it is pregnant, this is far away from the best. Pregnancy is most needed to stay away from the microwave!
