- Q: how to clean the dirty carpet quickly?
- If it is wool, be sure to get to the dry cleaners. If it is chemical fiber, brush with agent at home (1) multi-layer structure distribution of carpet stains, dirty carpet stains in the A. level, which makes it easy to bury the stains, dirt. Old stain is not only on the surface, but also deepen into the layer of fiber taxture Lime, sand infiltration,2. three supporting layer becomes the hidden dirt, continuing to damage the carpet fiber. The carpet was constantly rubbing, stains, dirt will be buried more deeply . B. carpet stains, dirt classification: A. water and dry stains, dirt and stains are mostly water-based and dry substances, including dust, sand, starch, soft drinks, tea, fruit juice stains accounted for about 80%-85% of all dirt, especially fine dust, cast of life and work, mostly adhere to the carpet surface. The larger particles of dirt will slide on the supporting layer. B. oil based stains, dirt (including animal and plant oil, cosmetics, shoe polish, pen oil etc.). - Q: At about 8-9 this morning. Now they are pretty dried at 1 pm. I wanted to now re-arrange the furniture, but how long should i wait? its pretty dried, but i was still wondering?
- I really would wait as long as you can, overnight if possible even if it feels mostly dry, it can take a good 12-24 hours to dry tracking around and dragging furniture can just get your clean carpet dirty again until the shampoo solution dries it can be tacky or sticky and really absorb dirt, then when its fully dry the dirt is sealed in
- Q: Tips for cleaning wool carpet
- Combing with comb or rake carpet carpet comb cilia, which is very important for carpet appearance, especially long fiber cotton carpets, carpet and accelerate the drying effect.7, suction dirt: wait for carpet hair completely dry after, and then vacuum suction dirt and dry bubble knot crystal.
- Q: repair discolored rug
- If it is discolored due to stains, such as coffee or tea, i would recommend using baking soda. Take some baking soda and put it in the mug, and add some warm water. Not too much, but just enough to get a kind of paste
- Q: Carpeting a 1400 sq. ft. office. Price is an issue. I would like to lay them directly on plywood floor (no 1/4quot; underlyment). Will plywood seams show through? Should I even consider laying them without gluing down? Any experience good/bad? And suggested source? I see them on internet for $.66 sq foot for excess inventory. Thanks!
- you can lay carpet tile onto plywood and yes you should definitely glue them down. without glue the tiles will be all over the place. here is a tip. when you lay the tiles down rotate every other tile 1/4 turn so that it makes like a checkerboard pattern. you will have a much better cover and it will hide any imperfections in the carpet tiles.
- Q: l have a white shag rug in my room and it gets dirty easily and i cant really put it in the washer so i was wondering what the easiest way to clean it would be
- shampoo the rug with a steam cleaner and purchase another rug to set on top of it this will prevent a heavy traffic area from getting dirty, from time to time remove it and wash it or shampoo it replace it when fully dried.
- Q: Im laying carpet in my house and was doing some online shopping and came across carpet tiles an easier much cheaper slternative to carpet. My question is are they worth it and can you tell its tiled when your done? And how long do they last
- Carpet Tiles are sort of the DIY answer to laying carpet, since some people find the thought of unrolling the whole 12' roll and cutting it to be a bit daunting. Most of them will come with a 6-8lb pad attached to the bottom, but some come as a flat lay commercial style as well. They're comparable to the actual rolled carpet, but over time they are a bit quicker to show wear and fray, and the visibility of seams really depends on the installation. With the newer technologies, they've made it so they blend in very well, but only if put down properly. The lasting factor comes down to how you treat the carpet and what kind of warranty it has. Obviously, the one with lesser warranties will go a bit quicker, but the same can be said for high traffic areas vs. low traffic. On average, they don't last quite as long as standard roll carpets. I usually see them installed in basements or sitting rooms, not usually entry ways or bedrooms. Just make sure you do some research on the brands and check the warranties before purchasing, and good luck if you do decide to go through with it :)
- Q: I don't have a stitch of carpet in my house, but my floors always seem dirty, even 20 minutes after sweeping. Carpets or flooring, and why?
- I had a house with all wooden floors until last August. I loved it at first and then I realized it WAS always dirty. I use to call my mother and complain that even though I just mopped there was still stuff on my feet so I had to wear shoes at all times. Even if no one left the house to drag anything inside, there was always something. I have carpet now except in the bathrooms and kitchen. I love it. For my birthday I got a really nice vacuum and it's my favourite thing ever.
