Q: I have a 7 month old who just started crawling. We bought carpet freshener a few weeks ago not thinking about if it would be safe to use with the baby here. Is it ok? Any tips?
I wouldn't. Try using something more natural. plain old baking soda will help remove odors.
Q: how do i keep rugs from creeping and moving? My rugs are on carpet.?
first of all, why do you need a rug on carpet? put friction stuff underneath its kinda meshy texture that is also used inside cabinets, sold at home stores and probally home depot good luck and hope this helped!
Q: What raw materials do you need to make a carpet?
It is easy to become flat. Acrylic?acid fiber the abrasion resistance of acrylic acid fiber is not as good as nylon. Polypropylene fiber polypropylene fiber has good abrasion resistance, flame resistance and low price, fiber organic. Except for a few carpets, it can be used with high efficiency. Jute jute is mainly used as backing material. The process of spinning include Anso and Timbrelle, according to the characteristics of the yarn and hand feel, so it is particularly suitable for the production of carpets. Viscose fiber the elasticity of viscose fiber is not as good as other fibers, artificial fibers begins to spread, finally use fiber to make roving. All carpet fibers have distinctive features: Natural fiber and artificial fiber; 4, but it has a good expansibility and flexibility. Soak a few months after the harvest of coconut shell, but the elasticity and abrasion resistance is not as good as other fibers, Roving increases the strength of single strand yarn through stretching and twisting in spinning machine, two or more yarns twist together, but after the fire it will leave a scar: Antwerp strong (ANTRON). This light yellow fiber is woven into a yarn. Silk In addition to fine handmade craft carpet, all carpet are made from crude fiber through processing, such as tearing and combing until they become straight. Nylon is usually added to the wool to improve the abrasion resistance of the fabric. Silk is seldom used in the production of carpets.
Q: Are rugs supposed to more or less engulf a room and be under the legs of your furniture (in our case that would be the 8X10), or are they used more as accents rugs in front of couches and chairs, not actually touching the furniture but filling the empty space....hence the 5X8?Or are there no rules and anything goes in the world of rugs? Also, any suggestions for selecting a pattern are welcome. Our chairs are neutral, but the couch has a strong leaf with some floral pattern to it, and in addition to struggling with size and colors to match it, we're also having problems with pattern on pattern. I suppose the safest thing to do would be just to forget rugs, since we seem to be challenged in this area - but the floor desperately needs something and the room needs a punch of color to balance it. Thanks for your help!
The rugs should be under the legs of accent pieces like kitchen tables or accent-end table. I'm not sure if the rule extends to the larger pieces.
Q: I have a carpet shampooer machine and my carpet has lots of embedded dirt and dog urine and soda stains. What product would give me the best results?
Get a couple of new vacuum cleaner bags so the most dirt possible will come out before you shampoo. Be sure to rinse twice after using detergent to clean the carpet. I hope your machine has a way to suck up the maximum amount of water. Mildew can form very quickly in damp carpets. Try to get this job done while the humidity is still low and the furnace is running, and use exhaust fans to speed up the drying process.
Q: I cannot for the life of me find the rugs in sims 2. I've seen some other answers here that say things like quot;decorations, rugs, put it on the floor.quot; well obviously if I am having to ask, I'm not able to follow those instructions as easily as you. Call me retarded or what you want, but all I see under decorations is plants, sculptures, wall hangings, mirrors, and curtains. So if someone could give me a real answer instead of some sarcastic bs, that would be great. Thx.
I just opened my game to see where the rugs were and they are here: Buy Mode Decorative Under Decorative as you already said there are the sub-categories plants, sculptures, wall hangings, mirrors, curtains, then rugs, then an icon that has 3 little buttons that is the sub-category miscellaneous, then next to that an icon that looks like a figure 8 on its side that represents the sub-category 'All'. Can you see MISCELLANEOUS and ALL? It is possible that the sub-category 'rugs' only appeared after I installed a certain expansion pack. I'm not sure as it's nearly 5 years since I just had the original game on its own. But if that is the case, and 'rugs' only got its own icon sub-category after EA released certain expansion packs, then I would guess that if you have the base game with no expansions rugs would either show up under DecorativeMiscellaneous or DecorativeAll. There are only 2 or 3 rugs that I can say for certain came with the base game- this is maybe why they didn't originally have their own sub-category, would hardly have been worth it for only a couple of items. And custom rugs will nearly always show up under DecorativeMiscellaneous. This is because they are hardly ever cloned from Maxis rugs, which are very boring.
Q: what is the best product to clean rugs?
For spot cleaning I use spray Resolve. It works great! I spray it on the stains and rub it with a dry rag and the stain is gone! When I shampoo my house rugs I use Bissell Rug Cleaner in my Rug Shampoo Machine. I also use this Bissell Rug Cleaner on my car matts. I just mix it with water and I use a scrub brush~~in my deep sink, NOT MY CAR, lol You can do it in your bathtub too, I would guess.
Q: I have an off white area rug, it's older so I'm not interested in professional dyeing practices or paying a lot to get it done but I'd like to dye it black....is there any easy way for me to do that.. uld I use fabric dye or no??
How To Dye A Rug
Q: im a new rider, and next week i will got my first pony. i wanna buy some rugs for him. Couly you introduce different rugs and good brands.im in UK.xx
Is he coming with any rugs? See what he has before making any purchases. In terms of types, it depends on whether he is going to be field kept, stable kept, on a combined system and if he will be clipped in the winter. It also depends on the individual - some horses feel the cold more than others. It also depends on the storage space you have at the yard. My Connemara is on a combined system (in at night, out during the day) and has a hunter clip in the winter. These are the types of rugs he has: -Lightweight turnout -Middleweight turnout -Heavyweight turnout -Detachable neck cover for turnout rugs -Fly rug -Fleece coolers (we have a few of these as we like to keep one worn and the others clean for after bathing him when we are going competing) -Lightweight stable rug -Middleweight stable rug -Heavyweight stable rug -Duvet-type under rug -Summer sheet In the winter we layer rugs depending on the weather and the clip he has - he often starts with a blanket clip and once that starts to grow out, he has a hunter clip and requires more or different rugs. Rugs that are clean and not currently in use are left in the bags the cleaning lady put them in (we send rugs off to be cleaned a couple of times a year) and are stored in a wardrobe in a container provided by the yard we're on so they stay clean and dry. The rugs we currently use (fly rug, summer sheet, fleece, LW T/O) are hanging on racks in his stable - it may be summer, but the weather has no idea what to do so he is occasionally wearing a summer sheet or fleece at night. As for brands, it's trial and error. Our turnout rugs are Amigo and are about 12 years old and in excellent condition; our fly rug, under rug, summer sheet and one of the fleeces are Masta (again quite old - fly rug on its last legs though!); and his stable rugs all came with him. He did have two turnouts that came with him, but they got torn in the field - we tried patching them up, but they eventually died on us.
Q: spill candle wax on my carpet and wont come off...
Varsol will remove wax but it may leave a stain on your carpet. Try it on a piece of the carpet you dont see (under a couch). I have done this before, on a multi colored carpet. You need to wash with soapy water after because of the smell.
