- No way, it wont even be strong enough if you screwed to the timber joists in the ceiling. A free standing one is the only other option.

- yes, any kind of insulation weather it be, polly foam, cellulose or fiberglass insulation, is always a good idea. no matter what you put inside your walls there is always a chance that something will leak. fiberglass will absorb water and rot your walls just as quick as any other tipe of insulation. a leak is a leak.
- Q:Hello!I've purchased a large mirror for my room and realized that I don't have any wall plugs that would be long enough to reach the load-bearing wall and I've never used wall plugs for the plasterboard wall in front of it.To be honest I have no idea which ones to buy.How much weight and which ones can handle. And is it even a good idea to use plasterboard wall plugs or should I just get longer ones which will reach the load-bearing wall?Thanks!
- I would use toggle anchors if its a hollow wall behind the drywall. Wall plugs can come loose in my experience. But you will have a decent sized hole in the wall to repair if you take them out - but same with the plugs too.

- In a sense the question is a bit confusing. Are you installing DRYWALL to studs? OR are you boarding over and existing wall material? Is PLASTERBOARD the actual substance? Have you defined the differences between Mortar and adhesives? Certainly if this is material going over studs or existing wall material, one might use a contracting adhesive, but it wouldn't be my choice as the only method to secure new wall material. I'm going to assume this is not Lathe/ Mesh/ and Plaster being installed. Just my two sense
