- No. Not a 3.5 hard drive. You can do it with a 2.5 laptop drive because the drive mechanics and electronics require less power. A 3.5 drive requires too much power for USB to provide. Though... In the near future, you will see USB ports that are capable of supplying more power than the standard .5 amps that USB currently provides. So after they come out, you might see it being a possibility then.

- its not smart to attach anything to your 12v power on the dvd line it can cause problems to your 360 and your dvd drive. get your 12v directly from the power socket .

- This sort of problem can happen with networks. Assuming the network has been set up correctly you can try a few things. It might be the sequence of switching things on and logging on. Try logging onto your computer AFTER printer is switched on. Also you can try not logging onto the network - I have had that work as well. I had 2 computers on a network that were always temperamental. Also check there are not too many users on the network, the printer can count as one user.
- Q: I have a Scientific Atlanta Explorer 8000 DVR Digital Cable box and yesterday when I arrived home, it was not showing the time or any evidence of power. - I recommend running it on the same side as your battery. That way you won't have to cross all the way to the other side of the car. Also, it reduces the length required for the wire. If there is somewhere that you can life up (like a panel you can pull up on the bottom of your car, where the doors are), you can potentially hide the wire under that and run it also.

- Q: Whilst mowing the grass, I cut through the power cable, which was connected straight into the wall and not an adapter, which it usually is. I'm fine, how comes? The mower is a flymo bought last year.
- If you do not have an RCD cut out and were holding the plastic grip you were lucky, they are designed for this event but I always plug into a trip switch.
