- Q: I currently use an old 18 speed mountain bike to get back and forth to work. The tires (26) are old, dried out and show some wear and tear from age. My main goal at this point is to avoid flats. I want to change out the tires for new ones. I am thinking about getting Bell Comfort Tires w/ Kevlar. What do you think? Good city commute tire or not? I am also thinking about using an old innertube as a liner in the tires and glueing it in using patch glue. The good point would be that there would be an additional barrier to avoid flats. Are there any bad points to using this method?
- Definitely go for the new tires. Sounds like they're overdue to be replaced anyway. Although flats can never be completely eliminated, the tire liners will help. A good quality tire and tube (from a bike shop, not Wallyworld) with a tire liner will reduce your chance of a flat. But I wouldn't glue the tire liner in the tire. You want to be able to re-use the liners when the new tires need replacing.
- Q: Taxes for cars that have been taxed for continuous production Why can not we deduct the consumption tax on outsourcing?
- This is the provisions of the GST.
- Q: What is the prospect of tires? The
- Auto parts shop, auto repair shop (shop), auto parts shop, car wash and other vehicle supplies related to the factory (shop) home, as long as the establishment of good relations, more sales of your products, sales are good. The words of the collection to see how they talk to others, the end of the season are there.
- Q: car tires, why are they all black
- confusing situation seek at yahoo that will will help
- Q: I got a jeep wrangler and it has off road tires. one of them is dead and cant be repaired. i want to know if it would be a better investment to replace that one tire, or get 5 new on road tires.
- I would never buy a new car not only are dealers scam artists and there is a huge mark up but when buying a used car especially in a bad economy if you have cash you will be way better off. Look for a used car that is even still under warranty if that is a huge concern. Secondly if you want an off road vehicle look for a nice used one that has not been used for off roading. In other words look for my moms car, she bought a 4x4 pathfinder and has taken it on exactly 2 dirt roads both of which she did not need 4x4 for but she used it anyway to make herself feel good. She is not alone i know lots of people like that, and lots of people who need the lift kit, and every other accessory under the sun to look cool and rarely use them to their full potentional. So why be a sucker and go to the dealer and pay full price and then put full price accessories etc on a car when you can get a couple year old one that someones already had their fun with and spent the money on (good lift kits are not cheap and cheap lift kits are not good) youll get alot more bang for your buck and itll still get you the same places.
- Q: for tire size wut does 33x12.50x18 mean?a person asked wut the biggest size tire he could have with an 18 tireisnt the size 18?
- well the diameter isnt the only thing that matters u need to match the width of your old tires and then you can move up on the outside diameter of the tires making the tread thicker
- Q: Since i started working at this job my tire has been flat twice and it‘s kind of add i don‘t drive old car for me to happen i kind of think that someone has been doing it but i am not sure. Is there any possibility that someone would do and if he or she did how might they do it.?? Because both times happened same every time i leave the parking lot it happened thanks for the answer
- maybe someone does not like you very much at the new job. trying to send you a point. try parking some where else and see what happens.
- Q: I have a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee that I bought with 20 inch Boss wheels along with low profile tires. I‘ve recently noticed that one of the tires seems to be low. How do I figure out the correct pressure. I know what the door sticker says, but that‘s for the stock tires. And I know what the tires say, but that‘s for Max PSi. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

- Q: I am upto another sprint event in a few weeks.Proper race tyres cost an arm and a leg. But for the entry level races I do people use good street tyres. However one of the biggest differences I have found out about race tyres and regular street tyres are the softness of the material.Race tyres are simply a lot softer and wears out a lot quicker. Can anyone think of a chemical or even an acid that I could spray on the tyre surface to soften(melt) them a bit?
- Tyres only MELT with heat not with chemicals. I'm sure you are aware that warmed up tyres in racing have different characteristics than cold tyres. Chemical treatment is liable to be downright dangerous as any such treatment may result in the tyre losing other characteristics such as road grip and even completely distintegrating away from the steel structure [called the belt] that is an integral part of a tyre. S So although proper racing tyres cost an arm and a leg, that is much better than losing arms and legs in the accident you may cause [and become legally liable if anyone else is hurt] What you are propsing is dangerous to the extreme and probably completely illegal even in entry level races!
- Q: I only know that 185 seems to be the width of the tires left 65 / R15, respectively, what is the ah
- 185 - tread width (mm) 65 - flatness of the tire, ie the ratio of the unilateral height of the tire to the tread width of the tire. R - represents the radial tire 15 - tire inner diameter (inches). Use a 15 inch steel ring.
