- Q: I am currently on a 90 day tourist visa in Japan because my US Navy E-5 Fiancé and I are getting married in Yokosuka City Hall. He is stationed here and he has his own housing provided by the navy outside base. However, his sea duty would expire on August 2013. He already got his orders and that for Shore duty he would be assigned again in Yokosuka for another 3 years. - It will depend on the country you are from to whether or not it will be granted. The Japanese government will grant a SOFA stamp to some non command sponsored dependents to stay there but not all. He needs to discuss it with his command and you will the immigration on what they will allow.

- Frankly, I don't think you are going to get anywhere with this. I would try to see if they would give you some money instead of recovering the sofa. If you get it recovered, the recovered parts won't match the rest of it. I'd see if they will give you a cash settlement. These kinds of warranties are really not worth much! Ask for cash!

- Q: When I look at the the material it say 100% poleyster, and not to use reg. upholstery shampoo cleaner. every thing you can imagine has been and spilled on this coach it is brand new though, don't have a pro cleaning service near by live oversease and they don't know of any.
- If you know the company's name that made the sofa, I would look it up on the computer or go to the store where you bought the sofa and see what they recommend to clean it with. I don't think I would risk anything such as you are speaking of on your sofa. I had a doe skin suede sofa and it came with some spray cleaner and said not to use anyting but that to clean it. Let me go get the can and see what the name of it is. OK it is a Furniture Care Kit. It works on Fabric, Leather and wood. It has 4 different bottles inside along with sponges and clothes. It's made by Stainsafe and Leather Master out of Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33418. I am sure there are other type products on the market besides just this one. Be careful what you use on your sofa. - It could be a spray that they use to keep the fabric fresh and to keep the damp out. I had it with mine and it faded away after a few weeks. Your sofa has probably been wrapped up for a while and thats why it needs a good airing. You could spray febreeze, it wont do it any harm.
