Product Introduction:Optical Fiber Composite Overhead Ground Wire
The product according to optical fiber composite overhead ground wire (OPGW) power industry standard DL / T 832-2003 "optical fiber composite overhead ground wire" or domestic machinery industry JB / T 8999-1999 "OPGW" industry standard. Reference standards are mainly IEC 60794-4-1 "for cable high-voltage overhead power lines" and IEEE std 1138 "for utility power line optical fiber composite overhead ground wire."
OPGW cable is a special fiber optic cable, fiber optic cable and ground it sets in one, both to meet the requirements of optical communications, but also to meet the mechanical and electrical properties of the ground power system.

Product features
(1)Rated voltage: No
(2)When the cable laying temperature: should not be less than -20 ℃
(3)OPGW cable connection: connecting basic method of OPGW cable connecting with ordinary and more stringent requirements.
(4)Installation Requirements: To prevent vandalism, cable connector box must be installed in more than 6 m from the ground position, and because of the special nature of OPGW cable is required to reserve more than cable.
Product advantages and disadvantages:
a.cable diameter is small, light weight, small short-circuit current capacity
b. light units form a suitable fiber excess length
c.anti-stretch, anti-torsion, lateral pressure performance slightly worse
B.Stranded stainless steel tube OPGW
- Q:Is a graphics card power cable needed because not all graphics cards come with one? And if it isn't needed, what is the benefit?
- not all graphic cards need them. But lately the graphic cards are using up quite a bit of power, especially the high-end ones. So if the graphic card has a pci-e power connector. Chances are it will need it. Otherwise your computer might show graphics are there will be error when trying to play games or other graphic intense applications. The same thing is happening to graphic cards, that happen to processor a few years ago. Not that long ago processors could just be powered by the energy coming from the bus line on the motherboard, but that is not true anymore and now we use 4-pin or the new 8 pin axillary power for the processor.
- Q:my friend has a dell that has a btx mobo. the power supply looks like all the other power supplys. will getting a regular power cord at radio shack fit and work with the dell power supplys. the cables that come out of the supply are all the same as usual ones.
- Which end of the power supply are you talking about? Are you talking about the end that goes from the outlet to the back of the computer? Then yes, it should be fine. * * *
- Q:My monitor POWER cable says: 10A, 250V. my CPU power cable says 6A, 250V.Recently, my monitor stopped working, so as a part of hit and trial, i exchanged these two wires. So, although my monitor is using a 6A cable instead of 10A.. my CPU is getting 4A excess than what its wire said initially. Is this safe?? Will i end up blowing up my CPU??
- The cable only supplies as much current as the device draws. The rating is the safe value for that cable. If you use a lower rated cable for a high current device, it could overheat and set your house on fire. By the way, the CPU (box) part of the computer usually uses more power that the monitor, it should have the cable with the higher rating.
- Q:I have a 2003 hyundai tiburon and need to know where in the firewall should i drill my hole to run the power cable i know it goes throught the firewall but where if you have ever done this to a tiburon please let me know.
- you should see a hole in your firewall with wires going through already. pop your hood an look where theyre coming through then go inside and locate the hole.
- Q:I live in the Arizona desert, on a flood plain. Most of the time things are pretty dry. But during monsoon season the area I live in experiences flooding. I am planning a shallow, square, sunken pond. The main pond will be 4.10' L x 4.11' W x 3' deep. I plan to build an 8wide wall around the pond to keep out flood water. The wall will be made of standard red bricks. I plan to make the wall 2-3 bricks high. This would make the wall itself around 5-7 inches tall. The foundation for the wall will be concrete. Do I need a waterproof concrete sealant for the foundation? I plan on installing a power cable for my submersible filter between the EPDM liner I plan to use, and the mortar for my brick wall. Should I use sand between the mortar and the cable to protect the cable from the mortar? The cable will be encased in PVC as well.Thank you.
- You should use a concrete sealant, it can't hurt. Put the cable under the foundation in PVC and it will be fine.
- Q:I got two hard drives. The cable connecting the hard drive has 2 connectors, does it matter which connector goes to the master drive and which goes to the slave drive? same question regarding the power supply. 2 connectors on the power cable, the order matters?
- it doesn't matter which power cable you use for your hard drive. however, the hdd cable is different story. I am assuming you have EIDE cable. If you just have one hard drive connecting, then it doesn't matter which connector you use. If you have 2 hard drive connecting with one cable, either you have to change the jumper setting so one HDD will be master other one will be slave. Another way is to change the jumper setting on both HDD to cable select; in this case, the hard drive connected at the end connector will be master and the hard drive connected to middle connector will be slave.
- Q:Need the cable you plug into your outlet and it's plugged into the back of your power supply on your computer. My computer is for gaming and is very modern so I need one that wont melt and can handle everything. Anyone know of anywebsites that I can order a high quality one from?
- If you have a problem with your power cords melting, then the problem isn't the cord, it's your electrical wiring!
- Q:How, i guess versatile are they. I have a Dell M1730. Basically i went on a plane and left the power cable in the suitcase, took the laptop as carry on and they lost my luggage. Is this something i HAVE to buy from dell, or can i run to circuit city and get something. The brick for this laptop is HUGE.....my dad's laptop cable fits in fine, but i'm afraid to plug it into an outlet.Thanx
- i okorder ... so best you call up dell service / support and ask them use your xps premium services to full effect
- Q:theres a red wire, black and yellow. i turned the power supply to the shower off at the main switch board. but when cutting through the cables to repair it it nocked off another switch on the switch board even though the shower is on its own circuit. does this mean there is still power in the wires and is there any power in the yellow wire (earth). witch is the live wire red or black?
- Power near shower or to? You have 220 power and both the red and black are live (will deliver 110 to earth.)
- Q:There are the six pins in the socket and six pins on the cable like on all other XBox i have seen. However a small black bit in-between the two rows of pins stop my cable going in at all. Not sure how what to do as the xbox is from Cash converters and it may be out of warranty. Thanks.
- THAT CABLE YOU HAVE ARE FOR THE NEWER VERSIONS OF XBOX360 ....THE OLDER 360'S HAVE JUST THE PINS NO MIDDLE IF U BOUGHT IT USED YOU SHOULD JUST TELL EM TO EXCHANGE THE POWER CABLE OR BUY ANOTHER POWER CABLE FOR OLDER VERSION
