Product Introduction:Optical Fiber Composite Overhead Ground Wire
The product according to optical fiber composite overhead ground wire (OPGW) power industry standard DL / T 832-2003 "optical fiber composite overhead ground wire" or domestic machinery industry JB / T 8999-1999 "OPGW" industry standard. Reference standards are mainly IEC 60794-4-1 "for cable high-voltage overhead power lines" and IEEE std 1138 "for utility power line optical fiber composite overhead ground wire."
OPGW cable is a special fiber optic cable, fiber optic cable and ground it sets in one, both to meet the requirements of optical communications, but also to meet the mechanical and electrical properties of the ground power system.

Product features
(1)Rated voltage: No
(2)When the cable laying temperature: should not be less than -20 ℃
(3)OPGW cable connection: connecting basic method of OPGW cable connecting with ordinary and more stringent requirements.
(4)Installation Requirements: To prevent vandalism, cable connector box must be installed in more than 6 m from the ground position, and because of the special nature of OPGW cable is required to reserve more than cable.
Product advantages and disadvantages:
a.cable diameter is small, light weight, small short-circuit current capacity
b. light units form a suitable fiber excess length
c.anti-stretch, anti-torsion, lateral pressure performance slightly worse
B.Stranded stainless steel tube OPGW
- Q: Hi, I bought a geforce gtx 660 ti and with it came 2 X 6 pin PCI express power cables. Problem is I only have 2 connectors in my computer, so one cable is useless. Will 2 Athena Power Model CABLE-YPHD 8Molex Y Splitted Power Cables allow me to use both the PCI cables? Thanks.
- Hi There, Both ports need to be connected for power for the card and if that is the case then two feeds from the power supply would need to be used. This would be because one power feed with the Y connector probably would have too much load on the one single feed and it would overheat and could cause a big problem. To be absolutely sure you should refer to the instruction manual for exactly what is needed. If still unsure a call to the manufacturer should sort things out. By the way this video card requires a 450 watt (or larger) power supply to operate properly. I would buy a proper power supply for this powerfull video card. This card needs 400 watts if overclocked so I would go for a power supply of about 600 watts (or larger) with feeds for each power adapter for the video card. Hope this helps, Al
- Q: The inside of my computer has a modular power supply that did not come with enough cables, and I have a graphics card that requires two 6 pin connections to the power supply. Luckily, my power supply has just enough open slots. The problem is that I can't find a place to buy a simple 6 pin cable. It needs to be about a foot long to reach. Can someone please help me? I would prefer newegg if possible, but I searched there and I'm getting pretty frustrated.
- You'd need to buy it from your PSU's manufacturer as those tend to be proprietary. It's strange it didn't come with all the cables though.
- Q: 3 (WDZBN-YJV-4x240 + 1x120) cable how to interpret
- Should be such a model it WDZB-YJV0.6 / 1kV4x240 + 1x120 power cable halogen-free low smoke flame retardant B grade refractory cross-linked polyethylene insulation - polyethylene jacket 0.6 / 1kV power cable, 4 core 240mm + 1 core 120mm copper Core cable.
- Q: I have a 240 watt jbl subwoofer in my truck and a 200 watt kenwood amp i bought a kit of 550 watts. But i just bought a 900 watt visonik subwoofer and a 700 watt visonik amp. i need to know if i can use the 550 watt power, ground, rca cables for my new system?
- You can use them, but you won't get the most from your equipment. However, I don't think anyone will be able to tell the difference, it will be minuscule.
- Q: Can I use a standard 12 volt power cable on an Elmo projector?
- Possibly on the BoxiT-200 that takes 12 to 19 volts at 3 amps, positive center. Read the printing on user manual, it gives the requirements. Most other Elmo projectors are plugged into an ac outlet.
- Q: I have a Belkin Tune Cast II FM transmitter. The fuse in the DC car power cable is .5 A but it blows every time I plug it in. What is the correct fuse to use for this charger?
- If you know that's the correct fuse. You might have another problem such as the wires are shorting or grounding each other out and not completing the circuit. It might just be best to buy a new transmitter instead of wasting your money on fuses.
- Q: why power cables are to be earthed at both ends?
- To reduce the risk of electric shock. There are always leakage electrons from the power cable to the metalic equipment body, electric pole, and any metal part that are near to the power cable, which makes potential source of static electricity and thereby electric shock. To minimize this hazard by providing a path for the electrons to the earth is provided by the earthing.
- Q: i just moved from canada to asia and the voltage in canada was 110 and here its 240 so i have a ps3 and i plugged it into a converter(converts voltage). After im done playing i noticed that the power cable is warm and you could move the two positive and negative prongs very easily as if they were about to come out of the cable. I have no idea what to do HELP!!!!!!!
- You need a good power converter (appropriately rated for the PS3's power consumption) with a proper American style socket, or replace the PS3 power cord with one better fitting to the receptacle on the converter transformer.
- Q: It's a 250GB Western Digital Caviar drive, sold with an iMac back in early 2007... I want to see if I can recover some files from it, but I have no idea where to start.
- Hard Drive cable: similar to a dock, but they are just a cable. Simply plug into an open USB or FireWire port, and plug the other end into the hard drive. They have the same issue as a dock though - no protection for the hard drive itself: it just sits exposed on your desk. (I can't find a link for this one in the couple seconds I checked. Sorry) Things to remember with all those options: * Make sure your choice supports your OS: most options work with both Windows and OS X, but some are only one or the other. * Know what interface your hard drive uses. Is it ATA? SATA? IDE? Make sure you buy the product with the right plug for your HDD. * Look at reviews. Especially if you go with a dock: there are lots of cheap ones that have crappy reviews. Do a little research before you buy. Personally, I prefer the case. They work great and you can always switch the hard drive out whenever you want. I just replaced 3 of my 250GB drives with 1TB and it took me all of 5 minutes! Enjoy! PS - I use NewEgg.Com for most of my HDD needs. They have awesome prices and sweet return policies in case something doesn't work when you get it (although that's never happend to me - knock on wood).
- Q: My Xbox 360's power supply cord is very loosely connected. I've tried to push it with force, didn't go further. Games lag a bit (GTA IV, for example) at graphically expensive situations. Simplier games like Limbo and Worms run without any problems. I think my console suffers from voltage drop because cable isn't properly connected.Power cord looked like this already when I connected my console for the first time. Now my Xbox 360 S is only couple of days old. Please tell me what your consoles look like. Power supply's light is also orange. Not yellow, not red - orange.
- It's not possible to drop voltage as you said. It's either connected, or it's not. The power won't wain. It just won't work at all if not properly inserted. But if the power cord won't seat properly in a brand new console, you're still under warranty. I'd get it replaced if I were you..
