Q: i was playing wiff my friends and the carpet got pulled up from the ground. is there any cheap way i can help stick it back to the ground like a professional?: Depends on how big of an area you are talking about and the carpet. I have done it with a high pile carpet by cutting a small slit and injecting glue beneath the carpet and then put weight on it for a while. If it is a low pile carpet you might have a hard time hiding your incision. Maybe if you can get a syringe type injector (meat injector) you can make a small enough hole that's not visible.

Q: i have paint all over my carpet floors, and i have some goo gone and it removes the stuff but it's too hard. and there is too much. can i put it in my carpet cleaner as the solvent with water and use it like that?: No, it would mess up the machine. Goo Gone is oil based and won't mix with water.

Thanks!: Hi Claire, In choosing a Rug which lasts approx 10 years or more I would suggest that in this case you choose a neutral color. I realize many may think that Tan, Taupe or Light Gray. are a safe choice and so basic. But with that said Carpeting can expensive. Changing the Wall Paint is far more cost effective. In the future, you may decide to use another wall color paint in the room. Tan, Taupe or Light Grey would be my thoughts for you ! * All of the above mentioned colors come in a variety of many shades. I also suggest taking a Paint chip with you to the store for comparisons if you are concerned. Tan/Taupe will provide an earthy color to the room, while Gray colors are visually cool color. Water will make the dyes bleed. There are cleaning solutions that are considered mineral spirit based or chlorinated solvents. The non-water based solutions should only be used by certified cleaning technicians because of the nature of the chemicals. My recommendation, which may be the simplest solution, is to take it to a dry cleaner. They are licensed to use chlorinated solvents and will not harm your rug. Make sure to tell them the nature of the rug and the stain.
