- Thats a good question. There all swiss so there going to be pretty close in speed. So I don't think it would matter which 1 you got for speed. But i would go with the most durible since there so close in speed. I'd try Bones because there Reds bearings are pretty good.

Otherwise jack the wheel up and try rocking it up and down with your hand at 12 oclock and 6 oclock, have a buddy look on the other side when doing this to make sure the ball joints are not the ones moving. Rangers and Exploders are known for eating ball joints and tie rod ends so to diagnose correctly you need another set of eyes. If its a beater OKorder is a good cheap sourse for a front end kit and wheel bearings. If its a keeper go with a set of Moog, expensive but will last till the truck is ready for the scrapyard.

- There are citrus cleaners on the market (you may have some around the house like Desolvit or Goo B Gone or some orange cleaner) which can be used for cleaning bearings with. Not all bearings are serviceable, meaning that you can remove the protective shield on one side. The ones that are usually have a rubber seal on one side and the other is metal. You have to pop off pin holding on the shield and remove it, then remove the ball bearings. You can drop them in the cleaner and wipe out the crud inside the housing, then dry them off good and allow to air dry then re-assemble. After that you'll need some oil or hi-speed grease to pack them with and put back together. For bearings that aren't servicable you have a couple choices, either oil them (which is messy and the dirt will stay inside, but they will be a little faster), or I think they sell some cleaner in a jar for about $8-10 you can drop them in which supposedly cleans them then you have to oil them. But I don't think it works that great Good luck

- You may need to be more specific with the question but i assume that you are talking about the bottom bracket bearings. In BMX there are various BB (bottom bracket) sizes there are, Euro BB, Spanish BB, American BB and Mid BB. The most commonly used BB is the Mid which most BMX frames use now days, the American BB is quite old and dated the other BB that you may see is the Spanish BB which is used by various companies one being Fly Bikes (being a spanish company). You may find that your Hoffman frame has a Mid BB and the Eastern frame you own has a Spanish BB the most common difference is the Mid is larger than the Spanish, unless you provide some more information i suggest that you go to your local bike shop and ask for their opinion or help. - It all has to do with the bearing. Sealed bearings are self contained, you can't take the bearings apart to service you just buy new ones when needed. They stay cleaner longer because they are a sealed unit. Loose bearing can be serviced, taken apart and repacked, but they need more maintenance because they aren't the sealed type.
