- Q: Hi well I'm wondering if I can by those 8 pin 6 pin power cords what goes in to your graphics card to plug in to a power socket on the wall. Because I only have 500 wats and at the moment I have the 4850 and already I'm thinking about getting the GTx 295 or something can't remember. But it needs more then 500 wats lmao.I don't wont to upgrade my PSU so will I be able to plug the GTx in to the the wall like as a sprite power cable what goes in to the AC power cable in the wall?BTW I live in Australia so could could you tell me where you are like USA London ect just in case Australia doesn't have it. =)And where can I buy this transfer as well.
- You cannot plug it into the wall. Its too sophisticated. A single GTX 295 requires a 700-watt PSU with a 50 Amp 12v rail. Insane power consumption going on here. Upgradable to quad-SLI (woo). If you can afford a GTX why can't you afford the PSU? A PSU regulates your power and protects your equipment from voltage spikes etc. Get the PSU. Whats wrong with your 4850? can your board support a x-fire setup (two 4850s linked?) That'd be cheaper in the long run.
- Q: Every time i unplug the power cable from my laptop the wireless connection stops working and i can't seem to fix it by changing the wireless power options any ideas?
- I am assuming that you are using windows, If you haven't done so already, right click on the battery on the right hand of your task bar and click on the power options. now, click on CHANGE PLAN SETTINGS Then click on CHANGE ADVANCED POWER SETTINGS a new window should pop up, look for wireless adaptor settings and select maximum performance, This could be your answer but then again I'm not sure what you have already attempted.

- Q: Can I do the big 3 upgrade by only doing the 2 ground cables(battery to chassis and engine block to chassis) now and doing the power to the alternator at another time? Will this give me a little performance boost until I can get enough material?
- Yes, that is fine. That is what i did in my car because it was a pain to get to the alt and i had a new one on the way. My voltage was dropping to around 13 volts before i upgraded the two grounds and after it never dropped much past 13.5. It is more of a problem to upgrade power cable and not the grounds, not to upgrade grounds and not power.

- The monitor needs a power cable and a data cable. The data cable will plug in to the video socket on your PC.
- Q: My friend I were going to play his second Xbox 360 n his living room. Went to turn it on and the RROD turned up with three lights. So we took this one and hooked it up to the cables in his room. And guess what? No RROD... So, I am lead to belive that the Xbox 360's power cable is the one that causes the RROD. Only problem is that most people can' test this due to not having a second power cable. So post your ideas about this idea. Could Microsoft be lying to us by saying that the malfunction is inside there console. I'm only 14 and i figured this out. So, how is it that no one else has??
- RROD is just a general malfunction not always the fatal and well known one the power supply cord being to loose is definitely a cause (its happened to me) several other general malfunctions could occur from one boot to the next and no microsoft isn't lying about that why would they
- Q: i dont even know what phantom power is. i bought a behringer c-1 mic and ii think i need phantom power.is it a cable. i just wanna connect it to my laptop via usb or audio input jack...plz helpthnanks
- confident, you could. I certainly have a Beyer MCE-80 one that demands phantom capacity and it takes an XLR cable. As for why this is talked approximately as phantom capacity, the term refers to a capacity source exterior to the microphone, frequently the two interior the form of a phantom capacity module or a capacity source outfitted into each and every channel of a mixing console. some mikes, by contrast, require a battery for their capacity source--I used to have a Sony mike that took a C battery.

- Not sure what you are referring to here. But you should be able to find a power cable long enough at Wal-mart or maybe a flea market or even a yard sale.I've seen them at Salvation Army and Providence Ministries that sell all kinds of stuff.
