Q: If you have first hand experience with these units, please advise. The idea sounds great; turn it on, leave the house, come home and the whole house is vacuumed, and the unit is back in its port being recharged. Do they do a good job? Do they miss areas like around the chair legs at the dining room table? Do you reccommend a particular brand? Please share your experience.
We bought a used 'ninety 4 Kirby in 1996. We paid $4 hundred. for it. i admire the effectual suction, even though it additionally comes with drawbacks. right here are my evaluations approximately this Kirby: a million. i do no longer in elementary terms like the fee of changing the filters (they're approximately $8. a bag and in elementary terms have 3 luggage in a kit. 2. it is not any longer effortless to alter from vacuum to utilising the hose. 3. it is form of heavy and cumbersome and does not maneuver surely. for my section, it is not any longer properly worth it. you need to purchase a bagless Dyson for around $500. and that they artwork super. Does the $1800. value comprise all of the attachments? do you like all those attachments? Are all of the bells whistles properly worth $1800.?
Q: I need one new wheel for my Panasonic vacuum, Its a eco-max. Model MC-UL592. I have tried to contact Panasonic but after nearly 40 minutes on hold without even speaking to anyone i gave up. If you know any sites that sell wheels please tell me as i can only find ones that sell other parts.
Try panasonic's website but seriously these days vacuum cleaners are so cheap to buy it is hardly worth the bother or effort of getting them repaired let alone the cost. Take a look at the Bissell website and their special offers I think you will see what I mean if you do.
Q: I am a vacuum cleaner expert. I'm sure many folks know a little more as far as models and dates of manufacture, but that's easy research stuff. Not to put anyone down surely- in fact much of my books appeal would be accredited to the beautiful images of particular models and their history. Aside from your typical coffee table book styling, my book would go deeper into the actual function of vacuum cleaners. Sort of an investigative attempt to dispel myth from fact, or hype from reality. quot;BORING G G...quot;, you might say. Well maybe, but have you ever picked up a book that captured your attention simply because it was done well. Then later you found yourself flipping back in your mind about some detail you recalled from that book? Hey, everyone cleans their floor right? My desire to write an in depth book about vacuum cleaners might be well accepted. Who knows? If you have any suggestions or ideas that might help me with my outline for the book please let me know.
no i have instruct already
Q: My year old Bissell vacuum is starting to not work so well. It has way less suction than it used to and it makes weird sounds. Our upstairs is all hardwood linoleum so all I'm using it for my crazy 6' X 9' rug in the living room. Maybe all that cat hair is extra hard on vacuums? I don't know why I can't find one that will last. The one I had before this was a Eureka and it still had suction, but the rotating brush in the front broke out after 3 years of use. And it was used in an all carpeted house. What I love about my vacuum most is the compartment in the front that lets me easily dump out the dust instead of having to change a bag. But how to I search through the various upright vacuum cleaners to find one that isn't going to die after a year? Some of them say they are designed for many years, but how do I know what is real in those advertisements? Can any of you tell me what you use and how long it has worked for you? Thanks.
Have you checked the belt, looked for a clog somewhere? You do need to do maintenance on them now and then! You can take it to a vacuum repair shop too. If you really want a good vacuum, go to a vacuum repair shop or a vacuum cleaner dealer store. None of them at the discount stores are worth a darn! Find something with a metal fan blade, instead of plastic, and a commercial model would even be better. It will cost you more initially, but in the long run it will not need to be replaced for years!!! I cleaned houses for 14 yrs. 5 days a week 3-4 houses a day, using the same vacuum cleaner!!!
Q: Got the Dyson but do not like it.
the new shark navigator at 199.00. find a demo at bed bath beyond. it's a great machine and lots less expensive than dyson.
Q: Why are cats afraid of vacuum cleaners?
Because they are large, noisy, and invade the cat's territory. They are just a huge unknown source of noise. Think, if a huge vacuum cleaner suddenly started vacuuming your city but you didn't know what it was, only that it was loud, what would you do?
Q: What value does Voltage indicate for vacuum suction?
You need to explain this better, it makes no sense as it is. edit: no way to know exactly. Voltage alone tells you nothing. But the power used (in watts) could be a guide, if you have that number, in watts. 1400 mA-hour is a measure of the charge stored in the battery, so that is no help, as you need a time number to convert that to mA, which, with the voltage, can give you power in watts. My experience is that hand held vacuum cleaners are all very feeble.
Q: Does anyone know of a quiet vacuum? I would like to vacuum the house without my little man crying.
I HATE the sound of vacuum cleaners and have never found one that doesn't hit the pitch that drives me bonkers, but Dyson makes one that fairly quiet for several hundred dollars. Just keep in mind that it still whines so if you son has an issue with pitch or the whole combo of big, loud machine sucking up everything is part of the freak out, it might not help and it will set you back a small fortune. That said, my hubby does the vacuuming for me and despite our daughter freaking out at every loud noise, he's managed to be so silly while he's doing it that she tries to find bits it misses or in corners for daddy to suck up. Basically at first he'd hold her while he vacuumed and then he'd get out the hose attachment and have her hold out her hand to feel the air. Then he'd show her what it was doing and say stuff like Isn't it cool! how it just ate up all the dirt? She'll still get upset when something gets stuck in the hose and motor's noise changes, but it's not a trauma, she'll just cover her ears. p.s. avoid bathrooms with hand dryers, these are the same type of noise, but even louder because they echo so bad.
Q: What are everybody's opinions on the Kirby G3/G4/G5/G6/UG/DE/SE/SE II vacuum cleaners/carpet shampooers?
Agreed. Owned one...switched to Rainbow. Cost is high on the Kirby, but it's rated at being best in its' category...for vacuuming. I didn't like how cumbersome it was to use, or having to empty bags. Rainbow has several attachments, too...but all the dirt goes into the water trap, and you just pour it out when finished. Egad...it's gross and great, all at the same time. Great for allergies, and there are air cleaner/fresheners included. As you clean, the Rainbow will scent or clean the air. Read more about it, and you might like it better than the Kirby. Either one will require fussing between attachments...but having had both, I'll never go back to Kirby. Carpet cleaner WAY much hassle. Better to rent a cleaner, as needed, than to take up space storing a unit you seldom use. Hope this helped. It's quite an investment.
Q: what is the fear of vacuum cleaners getting near your feet called? because idk why but every time a vcuum comes near my feet i flinch and have a mini heartattack.... anyone wanna tell me? (:
It's called childish. Grow up. The vacuum cleaner isn't going to suck up your feet.
