- They are not meant for home theater. Mipro makes commercial public address speakers and wireless mics - as the other answer said wouldn't you be better off looking for speakers that are designed for home theater?
- Q:Currently, I have a 2.1 speaker system for my computer. The speaker volume was significant, but I was not happy with the low volume of the subwoofer. So, I raised the volume of the speakers and the subwoofer also increased in volume, but now my normal speakers are too loud. So, I need to lower the volume of the speakers while keeping the subwoofer volume high. Right now, I put some plastic wrap over the speakers to reduce their noise but I was wondering if there is a better alternative. Also, If covering the speakers will harm them in anyway. Most importantly, if there is a way to keep the subwoofer volume high WITHOUT putting anything on the speakers cause they look kinda weird now. Btw, the subwoofer is at max volume and I've checked around the room and the front corner is the loudest location. Also, please don't tell me to buy anything.
- Covering the speakers is a bad idea. You are losing high frequency sound. Facing them away from you would cause the same problem. Covering the speakers also increases the work load of the transducers, but it is probably not a big deal. Sounds like your trying to get big bass out of a cheap 2.1 system. It's not going to happen. You would have to buy a part to reduce the volume on the speakers, and wire it in series with the sub. Not worth it.

- The speakers most likely tried to pull too much electricity (you had them on too loud) or the adapter is faulty. This would either break the fuse inside the adapter or speakers or bust the speaker element. If your adapter has a fuse, you can replace it and try again if it's busted.

- If the speaker is rattling, it needs to be replaced. There's no good way to repair a stock speaker. You'll want to buy at least one pair of speakers, to replace the speakers on both sides. But we can't tell you what size or give you speaker suggestions, because you forgot to tell us what kind of car you have, or whether it's the front or rear speaker that's failing.

- If you have 4 and 6x9 speakers in a Nissan I'm guessing that there is a Bose factory system in there. If you are still using the factory radio and amplifiers it is not a good idea to just replace the speakers if it is Bose because the factory speakers run at a real low ohm load (usually 1.5 or 2 ohms). If it is a standard Nissan stereo you should have 6.5 speakers all the way around, depending on the model of car. If this is the case you can replace just the speakers with no problem. The major benefit to adding an amp to interior speakers is that you have a lot more flexibility as to how you want the speakers to sound.

- Wire two speakers in parallel for each channel. This will give you a 4 ohm load for each channel. Speaker 1 and speaker 2 put the + wires together and plug them in channel 1 + (red) speaker post then twist the - negatives together and put them in channel 1 - negative or Black speaker post Repeat above for speaker 3 and 4 in Channel 2
