- it will work but because the amp has more power than the speaker can handle it will blow the speaker if you turn it up much, the speaker should be rated for more or equal to the power output of the amp. the ohm rating of the amp should always be less than or equal to the speaker. 4ohm amp-4ohm or more speaker, 8ohm amp-8ohm or more speaker. never hook a speaker with less ohms than the amps rated ohms or you will blow the amp.8ohm amp + 4ohm speakerblown amp

- They need to be connected to speaker outputs. If your HDTV has speaker level outputs designed to connect to speakers, then you can connect them directly. Chances are it doesn't though, (the TV probably has only line level outputs designed to connect to other electronics, not speakers) so you'll need a stereo or surround sound receiver to power the speakers.

- you could just have loose wires. but if you replace it, you are gonna want to replace both rears for sound quality purposes, and i would go to a local shop for the spreakers but make sure to shop around cuz a few diff stores could have the same speakers and most of them will beat the other stores prices

- It all comes down to the speaker sizes you have in your car. If you have round ones like 5.25 inch or 6.5 inch speakers go with crossover component speaker set up (small subwoofer cone and tweeter separated.) now if you have some oval size like 6x9 5x7 4x10. Your going to have not difficulty finding so oval shaped one. And if that is the case I would buy some round speaker crossover component speakers ser up and custom mount them to where they will fit. Be warned you most likely have to do modification to make them fit. But if you don't want to take the time to modify anything the get some 2-way or 3-way speakers for the oval ones. May not make a lot of bass in them but it will even out the bass treble and vocals with a set of crossover component speaker system. Good luck my friend. - Q: I have a computer speakers with a subwoofer but for some reason my left speaker wont work the subwoofer works great ans so does my other speaker but not my left one then I put on my other pair of speakers which both work. - You need to check one place before you go on. Plug your working speakers into the back of your computer. Do the speakers work? If the speakers work, then your sub-woofer is the problem. If the speaker does not work then your sound card or mother board is the problem. Check anywhere that you have sound properties and check the balance. If speakers work in back of your computer, there is a couple of things to do. Is the sub-woofer under warranty? Take it back to get it fixed or replaced. If not, here is the last step. Unplug any power source going to the sub-woofer. Next, gently loosen the screws holding the plate where the connections are located. Gently pull the plate out so you can look at the back of the plate. Is there any loose wire/s? If there is and you are good with your hands, you can re solder the wire/s back in place. If there is no loose wire/s, then the cross-over circuit is your problem. I hope this helps. Post additional info if something comes up.

- even if your stock speakers are 4 prong there should still only be 2 wires going to it a + and a - most of the time the - is a black wire the + can be just about any color but alot of the time its red. all you have to do is use the -(black wire) and hook it up to the - on the speaker(it should say what ones the - and + on the speaker) and then just hook the other wire to the + of the speaker and it should work fine. hope i helped

- Your additional details add even mote confusion, can you, use a guitar speaker with a speaker! All ordinary speakers are passive but no speakers have knobs (not nobs) on them. You can connect any speaker to a guitar amplifier providing the impedances match and that the power handling capacity of the speaker matches or exceeds that of the amp. Sound-wise though, a guitar amp sounds best connected to speakers meant for guitars and PA speakers sound best powered by PA amps. Really though, I suggest you learn a little more about amplifiers and speakers before you attempt it.
