You can negotiate with them for how much you can afford, and how much they will do for that. It's really worth making a few calls. Your colors are beautiful. It occurs to me that even though the chairs are brown, they could work uncovered because of your fall colors theme. Brown works excellently with those colors. Can you make covers for the chairs yourself?

I want one with the speakers built in, and that vibrates.: both are wireless, have vibration motors in the seat, speakers and a subwoofer built in, and since your husband is in his mid 30’s he probably wants (or you probably want) something with a simple black color scheme (like the x rocker pros) and not crazy colors and racing stripes. This suggestion is based on the assumption that your husband is a console gamer (xbox 360, playstation 3, etc.) and not gaming on his computer, because if he is a PC gamer neither of these will work, you’ll need something taller. Is there really a way to do it without compromising the style of the chair?: Tell hubby that you are afraid someone is going to either sit on a chair and fall out or it will break when they sit in it and they will sue you for not changing the chairs when you noticed that they were beyond their useful life. If you don't mind being sued then perhaps you might at least be concerned about not harming visitors. With respect to repairing them it is a little difficult to tell at a distance as I don't know what you like about them. I could tell you to cut off the bases and put legs on them but this does not immediately sound like it would be acceptable.

You can try cleaners that are specific to getting rid of smoke, but check a patch of fabric first to make sure that you don't ruin it. You could also try the good old baking soda trick - sprinkle it all over the chair and leave for a few days before vacuuming off. Or, try sprinkling a foot powder (one that gets rid of odours) over the chair and leaving for a day or two.

I was wondering if anyone knew of an old area where lifts are still up? or even if the chairs are set on the ground that would be ideal. I've had some great success with finding rope tows and Poma lifts, however chairlifts are hard to find really with chairs still attached! Any information would be great. Just a hint. I am NOT looking to take these. I have found old Poma Bars, T-Bars, and old rope tow handles and always abide by the rules of the area. I have taken ONE T-bar, and asked the mountains owner for permission to take it. I don't know how I could fit a chair in my little Ford Taurus either! Q: I'm a sofa, and i wish to know what its like being a miserable little chair.: People don't care about your feelings. They just plop themselves down so hard it really hurts sometimes. What is really gross is when they set down nude and they didn't take a shower that day. To make it even worse they wiggle around and throw their legs over my arm...ouch...... Sometimes they put one leg on one arm and the other leg over the opposite arm...Then I have to close my eyes, Horrible doesn't ever touch what I can see then. Being a chair isn't easy, believe me. I am so sad, if they put me at the curb no one would take me. There are so many stains on me, oxy wouldn't recognize them. I deserved better than this. I'm just going to sit in the CORNER.
