Q:Hello! I was wondering if Vacuum cleaners get rid of germs. I mean, when I think about it, doesn't it probably suck all the germs up? Perhaps it may not kill germs, but it at least gets rid of them on a particular surface(like the carpet.)And if they don't get rid of germs, than how can I get rid of germs on the carpet? I know that Steam Cleaning and shampooing the carpet are good measures, but I don't want to do that on like a weekly basis. I am looking for something that can get rid of germs at least once a week.
I know all the green people out there will hate my answer, but if you are concerned about germs in your carpet, the best stuff i know is Lysol disinfectant spray. I spray it on my carpets, my mattresses, couch arms, everywhere. It costs, it's not good for the planet, but it works. Vacuums can't vacuum up or kill germs. Sorry. Not yet.
Q:. Why is the consideration of a black hole as a 'cosmic vacuum cleaner' so wrong?
I suppose because black holes don't draw everything in the universe into them, therefore they're not cosmic vacuum cleaners. Even if our own sun suddenly became a black hole none of the planets would be sucked into it because it would still have the same mass as the former sun.
Q:My son just started crawling and of course tries to pick up every little thing on the carpet...heres the problem, he is terrified of the vacuum and too heavy for me to hold or keep in a carrier as I do it. How often do you do these chores, does anyone have a way for me to help my son not be afraid?
From what I've heard it's super common for babies to be scared of vacuum cleaners. Oddly enough, my son's always been in love with ours though. I kind of contribute it to the fact that I've always been a neurotic vacuumer (would do the floors every single day)... so I think he got used to the noise in utero. Either way, I'm lucky that it wasn't a problem in our house, and I still vacuum every other day... I'd just leave him in the middle of the room and vacuum around him while he laughed. Now that he's walking, he chases it everywhere and tries to tackle it. You could try doing it in the evening once he's sleeping if that wouldn't wake him up. Or, I'd just keep trying... eventually he won't be so scared of it. Try just turning it on and letting him touch it and get used to it instead of trying to get it over with as quickly as possible. Just a thought :-) Good luck though, and I wouldn't stress about keeping the floor perfect. It might just be easier to do a daily sweep on your hands knees to pick up carpet junk.
Q:Now one nipple is slightly larger than the other. How is this problem resolved? Can it be fixed?
why doesn't he just do it to the other nipple too, then they'll be the same, and then you could go the gym and look for some chest exercises, that way they nipple size will stay equal.. ...[rofl]
Q:My Bissell finally died. I used to love Bissell but that was the worst vacuum I had ever bought. I am looking at canister vacuums now. I see the Kenmore has a high rating as well as the Electrolux and the Miele. I want something that will last and has low noise and cleans carpets wonderfully. Any knowledgeable vacuumers out there?
I likewise strongly prefer the upright vacuums rather than the canister vacuums. Much-much easier to use -- rather than having to pull a canister all over the place and try not to hit your furniture. Insofar as brands are concerned, I have 2 Dysons right now ... one for upstairs and one for downstairs. They are absolutely the best vacuum cleaners I have ever had. Have had them for about 3+ years now, and if something goes wrong with them, I would buy Dyson again.
Q:??i know that my push lawnmower doesn't. you always have to push it forward to make it cut the lawn nicely. is it like the same thing with vacuum cleaners?
From what I understand, a vacum cleaner can produce just as much, if not better suction when being pulled backwards. Dysons are the best and most reliable for this in ,my experience.
Q:I am looking for two vacuums... One so I can clean around the house, and a hand held with a hose for the stairs. I don't want to pay a fortune, and I would rather not pay over $50.00 for a handheld. I would like to stay in the range of $150.00 for the regular vac. Thanks.
i've got tried a Dyson before and it grew to become into spectacular. I went on line and started procuring for one when I discovered that individuals had many courtroom circumstances on the subject of the Dyson. human beings have observed that the canister cracks particularly and it somewhat is tough to interchange. Then i began examining on the subject of the Bissell healthful domicile Vac and individuals have been raving approximately it. I examine greater helpful comments approximately this vacuum than the Dyson. i offered one for $250 (plus tax) and it somewhat is spectacular! I even have 2 cats, one medium and one long haired. you won't have faith how lots hair it possibilities up each and every time I vacuum. I vacuumed my residences popcorn ceiling by using fact it catches the cat's hair and it grew to become into like I pulled 4 stay cats of the the ceiliing. The hose is super and long and there are a minimum volume of attachments. the appropriate ingredient of all is that it somewhat is a million/2 the value of the Dyson. It additionally has a HEPA filtration device. it somewhat is amazing and does basically a sturdy of a job as a Dyson, possibly greater valuable. in case you seek for Bissell healthful domicile you may desire to locate sites that sell it and there could desire to be comments approximately it besides. it somewhat is great and that i like it.
Q:Do you name your vacuum cleaners?
I've given it a number, does that quality? I call it #1.
Q:There are 4 adults and 1 dog in my home. One of the adults tends to quot;shedquite a lot and has ruined every cheap vacuum we have bought with her hair. I would like to get a nice vacuum anyway, and I've found a great deal on Dyson vacuums, so the one I get has to be a Dyson. However, regardless of the deal, I don't want to buy a nice vacuum if the human hair will ruin it. I've narrowed it down to the DC25 All Floor, or the DC25 Animal. Is there a difference between the two? And will human hair ruin either one? Or do you have a suggestion for a different Dyson (I'd like all floor capable and ball technology)? Thank you.
I have a Dyson and I love it! I have never had a problem with it. I have the DC14 and I've had it for about 10 years now.If it ever breaks down or gets worn out I'm gonna get another Dyson for sure. You can't go wrong with either one you choose but I'd ask a sales person what the difference between the two is.Have fun, nothing beats a Dyson.
Q:I just bought a new carpet for our living room its so nice and very comfy my 1yr old kid loves to lie down on it and now my problem is what's the best vacuum cleaners we should use? Were looking for the best one price doesn't matter since our kid loves to play there we should find something to clean it up so he wont develop any allergies. Thanks!
The best answer to this question is... Buy what professional house cleaners janitorial cleaners use. that is Sanitare. They come in many different prices that fit your budget.$115-300. Just walk into a commercial vacuum store ask for it buy name. They will try to sell you the expensive ones, if you go in looking confused. All the cleaners walk out with this one including me. Its a floor vacuum as opposed to a hose, which gets clogged up quick. This vacuum is made to last it cleans with super power. The stores will not check your id to make sure you own a cleaning business, just act like you do.
