When my protagonist comes to fight him, I want the boss to be in such a position that his head is detached and siting on his body, while it's shaped like a chair. - The problem is making a 4-legged chair-shape out of a skeleton. Otherwise, the tibia/fibula would be the front legs, the femurs would be the seat, the radius/ulna would form the arm of the chair, and the ribs/spine would form the back. There are no bones to make the rear legs...

- Q:I have 6 dining room chairs with fabric seats. The fabric is light and I want to make a cover for them. I do not want to cover the entire chair, only the seat portion. I have a little sewing experience so I'm not worried about the construction of the cover, just the measuring of the fabric. Any ideas or references on how to do this?
- Upholstered seats should screw off the frame of the chair. Lay the cushion top down on your fabric and cut it about 6 out. Pull up the corners first and staple in place with a staple gun. Pull up the centers of all 4 sides and staple, pulling snug. Now pull up the rest of the fabric and get it all stretched and stapled. Trim off any extra and screw it back on the chair frame. No sewing at all.
- Q:Which do you prefer? This would be for a dining set in cast aluminum that looks like wrought iron and would be used on a wooden deck (not a patio). I like the look of dining chairs (i.e., with legs) because I prefer a traditional style with my old house, but I'm wondering if swivel chairs would be more comfortable and practical on a deck (no legs to get caught in the cracks). - I agree with the person who suggested a mix of the 2 kinds of chairs if you have a table large enough for 6 chairs. If you are just getting four chairs, having them all the same will probably look better. Swivel chairs can be very comfortable for just sitting, but I always feel like I have to lean forward uncomfortably to eat at the table because they tend to tilt back slightly. So it really depends, are you planning on using the set mostly for sitting at the table and eating, or for sitting and relaxing? I've never had a problem with the legs on non-swivel chairs getting caught in the deck cracks--but it is something to consider if the cracks on your deck are wider, or the legs are particularly small. - Q:How do you upholster a wing back chair? how difficult is it? how many yards of fabric? what kind of (cheaper) fabric should i use?
- I'm new to the upholster game but the best fabric is they heavy ones with that plastic like backing. it's water/spill proof and very easy to cut. now i would lay the fabric on the chair. cut it to size, leaving room for sewing ..i'd say an inch. pin it in place inside out and they sew. now most fabric stores have a chart that has picture diagram on how much you need for whatever kinda chair. I would add 5 yards to that being you're a beginner. Never have too much but OMG if you don't have enough. Good luck!

- I'm sorry to hear about the leg problems... I have sciatica, so I also cannot sit in lotus position any more. But it's really no problem as far as the ability to meditate goes. Really, any position which is relatively comfortable but not conductive to falling asleep will be fine... especially if you are already skillful at meditating.

- Yes! My earliest memory is my Mother rocking me as I had ear aches. I kept a rocking chair in children's bedrooms to rock them and the same chair is now at my Daughter's home. Now, each day I sit on my daughters enclosed porch to take a break and grand kids take turns sitting on my lap for a good rocking along with a song or two. I love rocking and wonder about good affects of it. I think it must be therapeutic (thank you spell check)in some way.
