Q: My cousin gave me his old xbox but hes lost the cables so i asked one of my friends for his xbox cables to see if it still works and when i tried plugging it in the power wouldn't go in the xbox my cousin has is a halo 3 limited edition which is either an arcade or hes taken the hardrive and my question is, do all xbox-es have the same Cables for power etc and if not were can i get the right power cable for this console preferably bought in the uk
No. Older versions of the 360 have a much more powerful brick. The newer ones have a less powerful one and the cable that goes from the brick to the plug is different.
Q: How to connect the power cable pre-branch connector
Pre-branch cable detection: a In addition to routine pressure test, it is necessary to increase the insulation resistance test, with a shake table can be completed in each branch after the completion of injection The table measures the insulation in the finished product After the pressure is also used to detect the insulation of the table to prevent the water cooling process in the branch of the water caused by short-circuit, the general AC voltage test can not detect, can only increase a set of table detection process B Core conduction detection, In each branch body should be tested with the trunk of the conduction test to prevent the production process due to improper operation caused by the branch and the trunk circuit
Q: 3 (WDZBN-YJV-4x240 + 1x120) cable how to interpret
3 (WDZBN-YJV-4x240 + 1x120) cable is a low smoke halogen-free flame retardant (B grade) XLPE insulated - PE sheathed copper core power cable. The model of the cable is usually composed of eight parts: First, the use of code - not marked as the power cable, K for the control cable, P for the signal cable; so the power cable. Second, the insulation code -Z oil-impregnated paper, X rubber, V polyvinyl chloride, YJ cross-linked polyethylene; so for the cross-linked polyethylene insulation. Third, the conductor material code - not marked as copper, L is aluminum; therefore copper. Four, inner layer code-Q lead package, L aluminum bag, H rubber sleeve, V PVC jacket; so for the PVC jacket. . derived code-D no drip, P dry insulation. Sixth, the outer layer code. . special product code-TH wet tropical, TA dry tropical, ZR- (flame retardant), NH- (fire), WDZ- (low smoke zero halogen, enterprise standards); so low smoke halogen-free flame retardant The . rated voltage - unit KV; general cable are marked, the problem is estimated to write missing 0.6 / . the use of: rated phase voltage of 0.6KV, line voltage of 1KV. In the cable, 4 * 240 + 1 * 120 that there are 4 core 240 square copper wire, a 1-core 120 square copper wire.
Q: difference between power and control cable?
Control cables as their name suggests, send signals to control the functioning of an equipment. Belonging to the family of instrumentation cables, these cables allow distribution of data or signals that have low voltage. Designed specifically for automation controls, these cables have a copper conductor, which is enveloped in galvanized steel braid. Usually used for regions that require less than one ampere, these cables can carry signals up to 40 volts. These cables usually bear a PVC insulation that protects them from impacts and harsh climatic conditions. Power cables are cables, which transfer both high energy and low energy from the source to the equipments. Specifically designed to best suit active and neutral environment, these cables bear a thick outer sheath compared to ordinary Control cables. The external sheath of the Power cables with its immense strength and protection enables the cables to transfer high volume of energy without any tension or strain. Unlike Control cables, Power cables often have a unique colour code system that distinguishes the high voltage carriers from their low voltage counterparts.
Q: i would like to have my power cables and control boxes inside in one spot is this possible? if so how and how expensive would it be?
You could use trunking for the cables, and for the control boxes if they are in the house you could hide them under a box which you could decorate to look like a parcel...personally I would paint it, but drill some holes for ventilation.
Q: I just need the console. No controllers, power cables, AV cables, Ethernet cables, Hard Drive, and so on.I checked Google, but the only offers I can find are OKorder and RRoD'd 360s on OKorder. Do any retail stores sell just the console? Or will I have to trust nobody will send me a broken console?
you only want the console weird, without a hardrive? Try a pawnshop a place where people go to give things that are missing or don't want anymore, a place where you could sell anything
Q: What does the watt rating mean on amp power cables?
in a lot of cases - not much. The name brands usually mention only total RMS power rating, and those are fairly trustworthy. But the off brands often use peak power ratings. That can mean many things from wiring kit to wiring kit, and lots of other things when you compare one amp to another. So if you're looking at an off brand wiring kit I would advise looking past the power rating and see what size fuse is included with it. That's the best way to know the actual current the wire can handle, and you can figure that for every 100A you're good for about 1000w rms.
Q: power supply, however it comes with some cables that can be attached to the peripheral 4 point cable then ran into the card itself. can this setup work? Or will I need a new power supply with 2 6 point pci express power cables? Oh by the way its a 600 watt power supply I currently have.
i think you should be ok
Q: Like I lost my power cable, so can I get one somewhere?
most amps use the same cable, so it shouldn't be a problem, through your amp in a car, (to double check) and check the local music stores, electronics shops, or Radio shacks
Q: how do i run my power cable wire through the firewall, to my battery in my 1995 Monte carlo?please help?
Now djp answered this question correctly but after drilling the hole makes sure you put a grommet in the hole to prevent a short
