Or are those, along with viscosity modifiers, only in multi-grade oils?: If you want an oil without dispersants buy a non-detergent oil. All oils have additives. Non-detergent oils are designed for engines without oil filters and let the dirt form into a sticky sludge to keep it out of the bearings. Not recommended for much of anything but lawn mowers.
