Q: Please could someone help me with my school project, the question is:Suggest three possible strategies to address the issue regarding food additives. Think about how consumers should be informed about the uses of additives and the possible influence of food additives, colorants and chemical preservatives on health (possible allergic reactions)All help would be greatly appreciated!!
The best method would be informing the public the sources and purpose of the additives. Consumers are attracted to color, thus food colorings are used.Preservatives are used in practically everything, although, sometimes it is not necessary. The problem does not lie in the producers, but rather the consumer. We as consumers, make the choice and create a demand for a specific product. If more people were to opt for All Natural products, then the demand of products with additives would decrease. The public should be informed about the sources, production, etc. of the additives. It would be ideal, but unrealistic, for companies to list such information on their products. What it comes down to is being informed. The public should know what they are eating. They should know what is going into their mouths. It'd be great for suppliers to provide such information, but I think we, as consumers, are responsible for obtaining such knowledge.
Q: Will it hurt my engine?
I have to disagree on one point that another contributer made. The things they put in those fuel additives for cold winter starts, while they are predominantly for keeping diesel fuel from gelling they can also be helpful in gasoline engines as well. In a gasoline engine it helps to remove moisture that builds up during the winter months, and keeps your engine from having to try to use what is essentially watered down gasoline, from all the condensation in the tank. That being said, there should be no issues with adding it to a gasoline engine even though it says it is for diesel, but you will want to make sure to add it when you fill your tank up. This will help dilute it at the correct ratio, and if there was something in it that would hurt your gasoline engine, the effects will be that much more reduced.
Q: MSG has no additives
There must be, eat more bad
Q: Please Kindly answer
Food additives are substances added to food to preserve flavour or improve its taste and appearance. Some additives have been used for centuries; for example, preserving food by pickling (with vinegar), salting, as with bacon, preserving sweets or using sulfur dioxide as in some wines. With the advent of processed foods in the second half of the 20th century, many more additives have been introduced, of both natural and artificial origin.
Q: can you put an additive in a premium only car when there is no premium available?
it could be a lot of things .you might want to save your self some money and take it to a good transmission shop and have it done right
Q: Is the stone powder used in the feed a feed additive? Is it necessary to have a feed additive for a feed additive? What basis?
Stone powder is not a feed additive, is a mineral feed; but in the production of trace element additives often used as a carrier or diluent.
Q: Or at all?I‘ve got a ‘93 Lincoln Town car (134k miles) and a ‘92 Dodge Shadow 2.2l 4cyl (38k miles - not a typo). I‘m about to change the oil in both of these cars and I‘ll be using valvoline high-mileage in both (seems to help with brittle seals on the Dodge). I‘ve been thinking about oil and fuel additives, like Lucas. Is the stuff ever worth it or is it snake oil? Experiences? Thanks in advance.
I'm a huge fan of Seafoam for my older motorbikes and car. Keeps water out of gas and dissolves a lot of the gunk in fuel lines, carb, etc. Costs about 8 bucks US but is worth it in my opinion.
Q: There is no food additive in the cream
Cream is a raw material, whether it is artificial or natural, do not contain additives, only processed into food will add food additives.
Q: Can you please share your experience about usage and results. I‘m planning to use it to see if it fixes a rough engine on cold start. Usage instructions would also be helpful. The car is a 1999 Camry 4 cylinder with 67000 miles on it.
BG makes some of the Best Additives for automotive use. I use the BG44k fuel treatment for cars that have been sitting for a while. It really does help clean out the fuel systems. the engine oil treatment is great if you have clogged oil ports but I don't think it will resolve you rough idle on cold start. You most likely need to have a tune up on it. Possible you have a bad wire or plug. you need to have the fuel and ignition system checked for the rough idle at cold start issue. oil is not your problem.
Q: What are the benefits of food additives?
