I use full synthetic castroil 10w 30. You want to keep the viscosity as your manufacturer recommends. the viscosity is the thickness. I change my oil on my Dodge Cummings every 7500 miles. But I change my oil filter every 3 th. miles. Even tho the full synthetic is more expensive than regular oil it lasts more than twice as long working out cheaper in the long run.
