Would i be ok putting it in my gas f150?: It would be a waste of money. Fuel additives do not help engines very much. They are primarily for octane boosting, although the Lucas does add a bit of oil to help lube the combustion chamber of the engine. (The valves, top of piston and top of rings.) Unless you are having trouble with dirty injectors/carb jets, I wouldn't bother with fuel additives. You'd be better off buying the Lucas product that mixes with the engine oil. Does increase the lubrication of moving parts significantly.?I add some every 3rd oil change in place of a quart (or gallon in my 18 wheeler diesel) of oil.
