- I've looked at it a few times, but am not sold on it. I would ask a herp vet for their advice. I have mine on Carefresh (recommended by my herp vet). Is your beardie is an adult? He might like it. Mine likes to bury in it, and I swear he makes little castles with it when he's bored :). He's done well with the Carefresh for almost 2 years now.
