- Q: y does my electric yellow always dig massive holes? i recently switched to a planted tank with fine graval and now he diges holes and its very annoying. is there any way to get him to stop and maby take his mind off of it. its amazing how much rock he can move overnight. hes like a excavator lol.
- Like other have stated the digging is do to spawning. To get them to stop you need to use larger gravel. If you want them to spawn it is best to use arganite or sand instead. But to get them to stop you need to use pea gravel wish is about 3/8 - 1/2 inch in size. You can have a planted tank but you need plants with well established root systems. PK
- Q: I remember some live-action show or movie on the Disney channel from a long time ago (roughly 20 years), and there was a group of kids who'd thought that there was a tyrannosaurus rex in this swamp, but it turned out to just be something like a caterpillar excavator.What an excavator would be doing in operation while being covered with moss and swamp much, I have no idea, but apparently that was going on in this series or movie. Anyway, it's bothered me for quite some time now... :)Anyone know what it is?

- Q: How do they ventilate subway tunnels when they are building them? Obviously they cant use just electric vehicles to create stations and tunnels. TBMs are electric but they must use excavators, loaders, etc when building stations beneath the surface. How do they ventilate these tunnels?
- There is a fan plant built next to an access shaft. The fans blow fresh air through the duct that runs down the shaft and into the tunnel, suspended from the tunnel's arch, all the way to the TBM. As the TBM advances, workers add new sections of the duct. The air then flows through the tunnel back to the access shaft. The section of the NYC's Third Water Tunnel I've been to, used very little engine powered heavy equipment. The train that brought workers and supplies to and from the TBM run on the CNG. Everything else run on electricity.

- Q: I am buying a home that has a large shed in the back. The loan is FHA and the appraiser requires it be torn down or repaired. This is an old shed close to 100 years old and was built with all 2x4s with many rotting pieces so fixing it would cost the same as rebuilding a new one. The shed is approx 15x24 in an L shape. I'm working with a contractor for the other repairs and he quoted me at $7,500 for a full demo, I said leave the floors and he brought it down to $5,500. This seems like a rather large amount especially looking around online I was expecting 2-3k at most. Is his quote realistic? Im under a deadline so I had him write it up but I most likely will do it myself or find someone with a excavator to come in and just crush it.
- Cheaper to rent a mini bulldozer and drive it thru yourself Is the contractor also charging for waste removal in that cost ? Then it might be reasonable Hard to say without knowing your city. You could call your local dump and see what they charge for construction debris It would be per ton and if there is a slab of concrete under the structure then costs might be reasonable I would call other contractors for estimates good luck Lr

Compny has various outlets, each outlet has staff including a Manager, and several Senior Technicians who are responsible for supervising the work of allocated groups of technicians. Each outlet has stock of equipment for hire that may be hired by clients for various periods of time, from a min of 4 hours to max of 6 months.
