- Q:Bench tested altinator,it's good, new batteries, new belts, checked fuses, still only 24.8 volts at the batteries.Should be around 28 volts with engine running. Display in opperators cab reads quot;charging problemquot;. Is there a relay I don't know about?
- yes yu may have an external regulator fitted , some times its under the seat , maye be elsewhere , might be near fuse box , should be bigger than a normal relay , will have alt written on it , probably black and plastic , yu can try and call dealer parts section and ask them if there's one on yur machine , yu will need serial number of coz , if its imported serial number wont be any good , is the charge indicator light on the control panel working , did yu check the fuses ?........ move them around in case there's a corroded connection , how many wires on back of alternator ?.......should be big red one , and at least one small one ( signal wire ) make sure this is ok , make sure wiring harness from engine to chassis is ok , yu might find wiring diagramm on internet , this will show external reg , are there any small wires connected to the big ht ( high tension ) wire on the battery ?.......is there an inline fuse fitted there ?? .....is corrosion a problem with any part of the harness ? dont be afraid to cut open the harness with a box cutter knife if yu think yu have a problem , its ok it wont bleed , just retape back together in a proffesional manner when checked out ,
- Q:I need some work done and none of the excavators call me back. I'm thinking about buying one and doing some part time work with it if the demand is so high they wont return calls.
- I have been looking into it for awhile now. I have a lot of work to be done and have decided it would be cheaper to buy a used machine and do the work myself, then sell it when I'm done. I find that prices start around $8k for an OK used machine like a John Deere or a Case. For that much it will be pretty beat up but it should work OK for the average homeowner. If you wanted to make a business out of it I would plan on spending around $15-20k for a reliable machine then add the cost of truck and trailer to move it around and don't forget insurance. Ripping out an underground line can get expensive to repair.
- Q:i already have reptile carpet but it smells! i want something cheap and something that doesnt smell bad. and yes, i know not to use sand. how about clay? or any other suggestions?
- paper towel and you can wash the reptile carpet in water with NO SOAP. be careful of sand because of impaction
- Q:My son just turned 3 and he is obsessed with the movie Up. We took him to see it and ever since he has been asking for balloons and running around yelling quot;up up and away!quot; He has a cardboard box quot;housequot; that he quot;fixesquot; with his plastic tools, last week he took one of his balloons and asked me to attach it to the top so it was like the Up house. Then he ran around all day yelling quot;So long boysquot; out the window. Too cute!
- My two year old nephew has a mind of his own too. He knows every type of construction vehicle created by man. Excavator, Front end loader, backhoe, cement truck and if you say look see the excavator he will well let you know what it really is. He also knows everything created by John Deere like the gator and stuff. His mom takes him to demolition sites so he can watch these machines go to work. He has never said the word mad. Instead he asks him mom if she is angry. The other day he just started teeing on the floor so his mom got upset and he said momma are you little angry or big angry. Now that he is fully potty trained he looks at his number 2 and lets us know what it looks like. Such as an ice cream cone, a snake, a mushroom. Every week he comes up with something new! I guess it is good he hasn't seen up yet!
- Q:I am currently studying Anthropology, and someone told me that I could only dig in archeological sites if I had a BA in Archeology. I'm not sure if that is real or not.
- Huh? Plenty of people without degrees in anything have worked as supervised excavators and technicians on Archaeology digs. In fact, through organizations like Earthwatch or Crow Canyon, complete amateurs can pay to participate in field digs. So I'm not clear on what this person meant -- perhaps they misunderstood and thought you were asking if you could head up a dig yourself. In fact, at the University I attended Archaeology was considered a sub-field of Anthropology and you had to get your degree in Anthro even if you took the full curriculum for Archaeology. If you were intending to work on a field dig they would certainly prefer that you had taken courses that taught field techniques and standards so that you understood what needed to be done. Most Chief Investigators (who are directly responsible for the field operations and daily oversight) have PhD's in Archaeology. Even with a PhD you can't just go out and start digging anywhere you wish. There are protocols to be followed.
- Q:can i use this in a wooden terrarium for my leopard gecko and have plastic wrap on the bottom and sides of the tank so it does stick?
- In all honesty the best substrate for a leopard gecko is repti-carpet or paper towels. Using the excavator clay puts Leo's at risk of impaction...
- Q:I highly doubt it. China is probably making most of it's own products and using them. So why must the U.S. import most of China's products? Just saw on the news a report on China's economy woes that stem directly from America's economy woes. It's suppose to be so bad for China manufactors right now, that they were quot;forced to close 450 companies there. Orders from the U.S. are said to be down 70%. That's a huge hit. They spoke with one company owner there who's considering just shutting down too. He's said to be losing quot;50 K a MONTHquot;. Just shows how much the U.S. is importing from China every day. So why can't the U.S. grow a brain and say hey, we should be putting our own people back to work by producing and using most of our goods right here in the U.S. . It happened centuries ago, why couldn't it happen now? Back then greed was rare in business, and most goods were made here. Now greed is the norm in business and just look at the mess that it has the country in.
- No, it's Free trade, NOT Fair trade and it's the reason our middle class is shrinking, for example all Caterpillar excavators are made in Japan now, now that's a lot of high paying Middle Class jobs gone out of the country, Clinton started it with NAFTA, Bush continued it with CAFTA and Obama has signed THREE free trade deals since he's been in office, Obama refused to sign the deal for the oil pipeline from Canada ( killing thousands of high paying jobs), now China has signed a contract for that oil*************************************...
- Q:the cards are of the zendikar set please help
- Well, you'd mill a total of 26 cards. So if they have more than that, no, it isn't instant win.
- Q:I'm looking for someone to put in a driveway, trenches for lines, and remove stumps
- Angie's okorder
- Q:excavator operator
- Mick Gatto. He's in that game and a very nice man indeed !
