Q: Hi,Previous owner build a brick fence. About 2 feet high, 25 feet long, with about 1 foot deep concrete foundation. This was obviously not deep enough since I live in a cold region and now the fence looks realy bad, going from 2 feet high to 1.5 foot high in the middle!What do you think is the best way to remove all that ? (sledge hammer, rent a concrete saw or a jack hammer) ? I'll also have to get rid of all the bricks and concrete so i was wondering if I might as well have someone do it for me with some kind of excavator.Thanks!: Easiest if you plan to do it yourself is to rent a Bobcat with a bucket and a jackhammer tip. Use the pecker to break everything up and then put the bucket on for cleanup. Make sure you have good ear and eye protection. Works great. Good luck.

Q: Where can I find reviews and opinions online for CAT Excavator: My Three-Year Old's Favorite Toy Right Now My wife and I purchased this differ for my son's third birthday. He loved the diggers at nearby playgrounds and a digger was his number one wish for his birthday. The tractor wheels don't really make the digger super mobile, but they do make for a very stable base and, even more importantly, they make this digger look even more like a real tractor, which my son loves. I was a little concerned that my son would be too small for this digger or that it would be tipsy, but was pleased to find out that it works great for him and he's had no accidents on it. The digger has a red plate that locks it in the upright position. It has a tendency to lock the digger in that position unintentionally and my son isn't coordinated enough to hold the digger upright with one hand and unlock it with the other so I just removed the locking plate, which was easy. I was a little concerned that he might pinch something (Ouch!) in the joint that was then left uncovered but this hasn't been an issue. All in all, a great purchase. If your 3-5 year-old is even remotely interested in trucks, tractors or digging he or she is sure to love it.

Q: I am adding an apartment onto my house and I need to know what is a good fondation to sit it on and how close to the septic tank can I build it. One more question what comes first the foundation or the plumbing?: i prefer block foundations they are warmer , and easy to repair some rough plumbing comes first usually the excavator will have a limited plumbing license for this, with these type of ?'s i would recommend a general contractor the plumbing is a very basic ?, it will get much more complicated as you go, as a carpenter I give priority to my general as he will always have more work for me, as for homeowners they are confused and disorganized and do not know who to call next, if you do it yourself get all your bids then ask a general for a bid, odds are you left something out so pad your bid at least 15%. good lucxk

Q: I need directions on changing motor oil on Caterpillar 320cl excavator?: at the back of the machine on the swing structurebelow the engine there should be a a hole in the metal or you can remove a peice of the metal but it should be at the back of the machine not far from the counter weight but if you look there is a hole or something you mite have to remove but they have a way of getting back there to do that if you still cant find it call you local cat dealer and they will beable to tell you were it is
