We now have a year old Yellow Lab who thinks it's a toy and attacks it and tries to chew it the moment it comes out of the closet. If we want to clean the dog has to be put in another room. I hate vacuum cleaners. They are noisy. But reality says I have to use them now and then. So I guess I'm saying there is no one rule fits all for liking/disliking vacuum cleaners.

- Oreck - 4 years. Does a very good job on cat hair (long-haired cat) and seems to filter everything. The hand-held that comes with it is not hepa but you can get hepa filters for it.
