Q: My Vacbag keeps splitting when I use it, why does it keep doing that?
Your Vacbag may not be the one suited for your unit, as it will split if it is not the right size for the vacuum cleaner. The bag itself is not an issue with size or shape, but if the hose doesn’t fit into it then it breaks it. We have a range of Vacbags for many models of vacuum cleaners, we can always see if one fits your model or if there is a distributor near you.
Q: My vacuum just stopped while I was using it! What do I do now?
All of our vacuum cleaners have been fitted with a thermal safety cut-off switch which activates to stop the motor from burning out. When it does that it will prevent the unit from turning on again until it has cooled sufficiently to reset, which is between 2 – 4 hrs. The most common reason for safety cut-off switch activated is the filters needs to be cleaned. Please read the instruction manual and follow the instructions on how to clean the filters.

- I love Oreck with the bags, but right now I am using a regular Dirt Devil bag less. The best thing about bag less is that you just rinse out the canister and wash the filters, with bags you have to hunt them down, and they cost a lot, well I vacuumm alot so I had to change the bags more often than most :)
- Q:I don't misuse them. I simply turn them on, vacuum the carpeted floors in my apartment, and promptly turn it off and store it in the laundry room. I have now had to purchase 3 vacuum cleaners in a year because they all have the same problem. - If the hose still has suction but the carpet beater doesn't, there must be a clog somewhere or the roller has stopped rotating. Keep looking. Turn the vacuum cleaner upside down so you can see the bottom, turn it on and see if the brush spins. If not, there's your problem. The belt has come loose, which it shouldn't do that quickly, or something has gotten jammed and is preventing the brush from turning. It's usually long hair, or threads from the carpet or something. Unplug the machine and clean what needs cleaning.

- first check the attachments, if you don't have suction, then the machine is clogged, if you have a shop vac or another vacuum you can use its attachments to try and pull the clog back out the way it came in ( sometimes you can use a broom stick to push a clog out but you need to be careful not to tear the hose ). If you have suction and the brush roll doesn't turn than the belt is broken or stretched out ( they should be changed every six months to a year ) consult the owners manual on how to change the belt, or take it to a vacuum shop most can change the belt on the spot for pretty cheap.

- YES!!!!!! Kirby does.... i just had them at my house and they even showed me how to use the steam cleaner. i liked the vacuum better . it got all kinds of pet hairs out of the furniture
