I was wondering how much, at the cheapest, it would cost to recover it.: You really have to shop around Visit fabric stores - those that specialize in upholstery fabric. Take pictures and very good measurements of your chair. The folks at the fabric store can help you determine how much fabric you will need. Then get labor quotes. Unfortunately re-upholstering furniture can be as expensive if not more expensive than purchasing new unless the furniture is originally very high end. Since you chair is vinyl it probably does not fall into that category. You are better off getting a new chair. Sorry

Q: I found this chair sitting in our garage for about a year now and I want to put it in my bedroom. The problem is that its kinda dirty.. Its like a cream color but it has dark marks on the arms its from my uncles tools. It's not a leather or recliner chair its just a regular sitting chair. THANK YOU!!: I buy a cleaner at Walmart, Dollar General or Dollar Tree that should work on your chair. It is called LA's Totally AWESOME. It comes in gallon jug, 1/2 gallon or a spray bottle. It's a yellow color liquid. It is very cheap and can be used to clean many things. Use it straight, do not mix with water. I have used it for years on many things and LOVE IT~!!! .....please do not use bleach on the chair.

Q: fabric chairs: Your question needs to have more information provided in order for me to assist you better. When talking about chairs, have you looked on the underside of the seat area to see if it is screwed down and removable? Or are they like parsons chairs that are completely covered with fabric from the seat to the back of chair? You need to be more specific on type of chair before I can tell you how to do this. If the seat portion of the chair is removable(look underneath, and unscrew screws holding it on) Take seat off. Place seat of chair faced down onto fabric of choice, cut out fabric using chair seat as guide. Draw up side of fabric to be sure you have ample fabric to come to bottom of chair. Wrap seat as of you were wrapping a gift and staple with heavy gage stapler. Screw back on seat. If this is a solid fabric chair, consider buying slipcovers or making your own out of sheets.

Q: Hello,Something freaky is happening to my patio furniture. My building is undergoing pressure washing on the outside, so I brought the chairs inside over the day. They are made of a brownish metal (iron?) and a sort of mesh. So they have spent the day indoors, and I was just taking them outside again, when they started bleeding a bright reddish orange fluid. What can this be? Can rust appear in liquid form?!: I just had the same thing happen to me with some patio chairs I moved the other day. Basically water get inside the tubing of the frame of the chair and over time surface rust forms and mixes with the water at the bottom. Thats where you get the red-orange fluid from. Rust doesn't have a liquid form but it can mix in with water when agitated with water.
