Q: I have received a swivel chair, but it is too low to be used at my desk... I don't want to put a cushion on it because it is a massaging and heating one lol..: It would help to see the chair. I dont believe that part controls the height of the chair. Typically it is a gas cylinder with either a leaver under the seat or piece of the seat. There are chairs that you spin to adjust height but considering your chair is massaging and heating, i would assume it is raised and lowered with the gas cylinder. If the gas cylinder is not working it may not be making a good connection. (when you pull the lever it pushes a button on the top of the gas cylinder which causes it to raise/lower) If you put the chair together yourself I would make sure that the gas cylinder is pushed all the way into the under chair bracket. Otherwise contact the manufacturer and they should send you the replacement part.

Q: Given a weight and the angle of the legs, how do I calculate how much force each leg of a chair supports?I'm kinda-sorta sure of how to do this problem in 2D, but I have no idea how to do it in 3D.: the amoutn of force divided by 4, since there is 4 legs in a chair

Not necessarily of any particular individual, but perhaps representing the lynching of the president's POLICIES. Where you stand on this issue may depend, in part, on your own political orientation. No matter where you stand, it is not necessary to hang a chair from your tree. But you will have an opportunity to VOTE in November.

Q: Hi, i had a chair a long time ago that was the shape of a shallow bowl and was made of wicker and roughly 5 ft in diameter. I have found similar chairs called saucer chairs but none of them with an independent base or made of wicker.
