Classification 1:Prestressed wire rod

Available Diameter(mm):Φ5.5mm-16mm

Grade:SWRH82B,SWRH77B,SWRS82B

Characteristic and Application

The wire rod of SWRS82B features stable chemical composition,Low harmful elements, minor decarburization, good surface quality, high sorbite percentage, homogeneous properties along the coil and excellent drawing performance. And it is mostly used to produce bridge cable. The wire rod of SWRH77B and SWRH82B is mostly used to produce high-strength and low-relaxation per-stressed plain wire, indented wire, negative threaded wire, steel strand and rope, which are widely used in rail sleeper, highway, bridge, bridge cable, large cement pipe, etc.

Classification 2:Welding wire rod

Available Diameter(mm):Φ5.5mm,6.5mm.

Grade:H08A,ER70S-6

Characteristic and Application

This grade wire rod has characteristics of low percentage of harmful elements and good surface quality.By rational controlling the chemical composition and optimizing rolling process, the drawing and welding properties of the wire rod are guaranteed. It also has characteristics of easy drawing and mould saving when using.H08A is mainly used to produce various welding rod. While ER70S-6 is mainly used to produce various kinds of CO2 gas shielded welding wire ,argon arc welding wire and submerged welding wire.

Characteristic and Application.

Hard Wire has characteristics of good surface quality, uniform properties within one coil, high percentage of sorbite, low percentage of inclusion, moderate grain size and excellent drawing performance. It is used to produce galvanized cement nail, spanking, pneumatic collated nails and various collated nails, wire rope, steel strand, springs, rubber tube steel wire, tyre core wire, spring wire etc.It can meet the requirement of metalwork industry.

Q: What would the wire size be for a 3 phase 4 wire - 480/277V - 400A panelboard. Would it be (3) 600mcm w/ (1) 1/0 ground?
Well not quite: 1. The panelboard is 4 wire therefore the (3) in the description would be (4). The 4th wire is for the neutral and required if you are using the 277. Otherwise the panelboard is a 3 wire board and no 277 2. 600 kcmil copper with 75°C insulation is able to carry 420 A as long as the ambient temperature < 86°F (30°C) and are installed by themselves (not in a raceway/cable tray with other power conductors). If the conductors are aluminum, the temperature is hot, the installation has multiple conductors in the same raceway/cable tray, or the distance is of sufficient length resulting in unacceptable voltage drop, the cable must be derated -- read you must increase the size to 750 kcmil or increase the insulation rating to 90°C The ground conductor should be of sufficient size
Q: HiI want to cover a large section of a wall at home with wire. There is a plug socket (electrical outlet) in the wall. How can I ensure that I do not drill into electrical wiring within the wall? Is there some way to scan a wall to locate the wires? Thanks.
Most wire is run in the middle of the 2X4 stud, that places it about 1 ?” from the finished surface, so use screws or nails that are less than 1 ?” long. I’m not sure what you are trying to achieve. There are some really good adhesives out there, so you might want to consider gluing your wires to the wall and avoid any risk of hitting wires. There are detectors available to find wires in walls. Some stud sensor makes that claim, but my experience is that they are not reliable for wires. Wire tracers that locate wires in the wall are very expensive and difficult to find. A specialty shop that carries equipment for telephone technicians would have them, not most home centres.
Q: the 2 wires that is connected from the key hole is cut .. how to fix or replace?
If there enough wire left on each side of the cut, say 1, then you could bear about 1/4 of the wire on each side and solder the wires back together making sure you are soldering the same wires together and wrap each soldered connection in electrical tape so they are not able to touch each other. Then a final wrap of tape around them both. If you are not up to soldering you could go to an auto parts shop and get a crimp connector to do the job, again bearing of wire is needed to get a contact through the cut area. If the cut is closer to the switch then there is no option but to replace the switch.....
Q: Friend’s dog chewed my fuel pump wires on my 90 Chevy caprice classic I need to know what colors match up correctly. I have coming from the pump: Purple, Gray or (Tan color) black, only other wires in site coming from tail light harness are Pink, Gray, black/ white stripe. I have tested these wires and found out that the (black/white wire was ground, Pink was hot, Orange was hot not didn't light up as bright as the pink with the test light) Found nothing in Mitchell’s book to help also called dealers I printed out a wiring diagram but not much help..

Q: I have two black wires running to a light switch that I need to extend about a foot. I cannot identify the hot wire because both wires are black and I have no white wire. Can I cap off both wires and then test each with a voltmeter? If the circuit is not complete, will the hot wire still be live?
If you plug an extension cord into a grounded outlet, you can use the VOM to read between the ground on the other end of the cord the wires to find the hot one (assuming that the grounded outlet is really grounded - check that first). Or if you're near a water line, you can take readings between the wires the waterline (preferably cold).
Q: I have noticed that a room in my house is improperly grounded, and it needs to be redone. We do know that most of the wiring is made with a single core, copper wire. Would there be a hazard with using a multi core (speaker) wire for the grounding, or should we do the wiring with a single core wire.
Single Core Wire
Q: I am hooking up a subwoofer in my 01' civic and i cant figure out where the remote wire from the amp connects to in the back of my new headunit. Do i need a wiring harness? any help would be appreciated thanks
It'll more than likely be a blue wire with a white stripe coming off the back of the aftermarket deck.
Q: hi i have 2000 prizm the wires coming out of car doesnt match the colours of stereo wires does and body knows the wiring coding for car to sony cd player thanks
These are the wire colors I have listed for the Prizm; I can't guarantee its accuracy, so it's a very good idea to have a multimeter handy so you can verify the wire functions. Also, if you can look at the speaker wires in the trunk, they should match the wire colors behind the radio. 12v(+) constant: Blue/Yellow 12v(+) key-switched: Gray Ground: Brown or chassis metal Illumination: Green Dimmer: White/Green Speakers: LF+ Pink LF- Violet RF+ Light Green RF- Blue LR+ Black LR- Yellow RR+ Red RR- White Keep in mind that if your factory wires were cut, you may (read, probably) have blown fuses in the vehicle fuse box(es).
Q: i am installing a headunit, i connected all the wires the match, but i have some left over that i am confused about. from the wires that plug into the radio there is the antenna wire, the remote wire, and the ground with a washer to screw it down, and from the other is set of wires is a solid orange wire, which i have no idea where it goes to. so i connected the remote to the orange wire and didn't hook up the antenna to anything, and bolted down the ground wire. I'm wondering why i have 2 ground wires, and what the orange wire is and what do i connect to it?
The orange wire may be an illumination wire that controls the illumination or brightness of the head unit's lights when the car's headlights are turned on. You have two grounds because one is a chassis ground used to ground the metal frame on your head unit to the car's ground. Your head unit may or may not have an input for the illumination wire, in which case you need to remove it. I would also ground the head unit's frame using the second ground wire. Try looking online for the pinouts for your particular car's factory head unit. This will take the guesswork out of the install.
