Q: why use a large gauge spark plug wires: What is High Tension Electricity? In all my engineering classes, never heard of it. I wouldn't use large gauge spark plugs unless they were specified. If you use them and they're not specified, you could ruin the spark plugs for too much voltage.

Q: How do I wire an outlet that has two black and to white wires. It this case the white being the HOT wires?? Don't know why all the white wires in my house are HOT.. And the black are nuetral???: Just use what is called a pigtail add take a short piece of white wire and wire nut it to the other two thenyou will have one wire to hook to the outlet.Do the same with the black. Be sure you turn the power off before attempting any wiring task. Black on the brass screw and White on the silver screw on the outlet.

The yellow wire is for the Left Side Turn and Stop. The brown wire is for Running/Marker lights. If your trailer's chassis is made of metal, then connect the white wire to it. Check the trailers taillight bulbs to see if they have one or two filaments. They should have two. One is for the dimmer running lights, and one is for the brighter brake and turn lights. Q: I have a 99 Dodge Ram.. The radio ignition wire is burnt out.. Can anyone tell me where I can connect a new ignition wire to??: There are two hot radio wires in that ram. One is the hot all the time memory back up wire and the other is the ignition accessory switched wire. If that wire is burnt out ?? you had to have one heck of a short in the radio and a way too big of a fuse in the circuit. That circuit is fused at 3Amps and the back-up uses a 1Amp fuse. If it is the acc. switched wire to the radio that is fried, I would suspect that the audio outputs are shorted. There just is not much else in there to draw that kind of current. A new wire from the radio to the fuse block sure won't fix the problem with out clearing the short first. Any way, it just runs from the radio to the radio fuse.

Q: there is different gauge wire sizes in the power/ground and speaker wire? which is better? what is the difference? buy ground power and speaker wire the same gauge?: the 4 gauge is twice as thick as the 8 gauge.and the speaker wire should be speaker wire not 4 or 8 gauge wire.and 4 gauge is the way to go for power and ground off your amplifier.you can buy heavier speaker wire for your sub woofers from any car audio dealer by the foot.whatever thickness wire you use to power your amplifier is the thickness you use to ground it.and ground your amplifier as close to the amplifier as possible to a clean steel area with a self tapping screw and a o ring clip on the ground wire.both power and ground should be the same thickness.the speaker wire is up to you.
