Drawn Cup Needle Roller Bearing :

The outer ring of drawn cup needle roller bearing is punched with the high-quality steel sheet. The outer ring has thin wall.The drawn cup needle roller bearing has the characterstics of small radial section area, large load carring capacity ,less inertia and economic manufacture. It is suitable for small section heght, or when the housing bore isnot used for raceway , this type is recommended to use .The bearing is assembled into the housing bore under a certain pressure without fu rther axial location.

The draw up needle roller bearing generally takes its shaft diameter as the internal raceway .However , the proper LR type inner ring can be  used in accordance with application condition.

Q: I'm buying a new skateboard with complete trucks, wheels and abec 3 bearings.I just wanted to know if it is any difference to Abec 5, 7, 9 ??
whats Abec?
Q: I have a 2001 Dodge Durango and it has been making a roaring/humming noise when I drive usually it gets loud when I get up to 15-20 mph. The rpm's are fine and it doesn't overheat so I suspected my wheel bearings. This morning, I jacked up the front and tested both tires. The passenger side had a lot of play in it and when I spun the wheel, it made a slight grinding noise as if something was rubbing. The driver side did not make this noise.1) is this a problem with the bearings?2) if yes, what goes into replacing them?3) is there a website that gives step-by-step instructions for replacing them?
Wheel bearing for sure..take wheel off, look behind the hub where the wheel bolts. there will be three bolts that need to come out. take those out and beat on the outside of the bearing assembly or pry it out of the knuckle with a thin flathead or prybar. honestly not a hard job. ps...new bearing assembly will come with new wheel studs.
Q: I cant put them in! I can only put it on succesfully on the inside of the wheel. The bearing wont go in the outside of the wheel(the logo side). just saying i use the method where you put it on the truck axis and press down with your wheel
Do what i do put in the bearing and push it in slightly with your fingers. Then get a screw driver turn it upside down (sharp side facing up) get a hammer and gently nail it in it will stay in and shouldnt even be dented or scrached!
Q: so i was in my room thinking on how to make bearings faster so i thought of eye drops which they dont have water so i got some old rusty bearings n they dont go that fast cause there old n rusty so i put the eye drops on the bearings n they started going fast then i put them on my abec-5 lucky bearings which they r new n dont go fast cause i haven't broke them in already so i once again put the eye drops on the bearings n they went fast but my concern is, will the eye drops mess up my bearings
NO water? NO WAY. They are principally water with a few other ingredients. You are not cleaning them if you are putting the drops in and leaving it. You are lubricating them. Water works for a short time but will destroy greases or gels and if you use enough to destroy them completely (or if they were oiled) will eventually rust the bearings. Rusted bearings will never be as good as new. Cleaning involves flushing out old oil/grease/gel/dirt/etc. Water is a suitable cleaning material (but will not reliably remove many lubricants) as long as you dry the bearings before adding new lubricant. If you want to add a little material to free up bearings, just use a little light oil. It is cheap and most hardware stores carry it in small tubes with a needle tip so you can get it in small places. I haven't cleaned bearings in years because I find it better to just get new ones when they are really bad. When I do: I start with lamp oil (desented kerosene) because it will remove any old lubricant that is holding crud in the bearing. Next water with dish detergent to remove the lamp oil (some people just dry them out by draining and relube at this point) Followed by rinsing in water to remove the soap, drain, and rinsing in denatured alcohol to dry them. Then use whatever lube you like.
Q: I have ABEC-5 bearings, and I have cleaned them but do not have anything to use as lube, Will gun oil be ok?
depends what kind of gun oil, there are lots of oil that'll leave a residue behind which will just make your bearings collect more dirt and dust, gun oil is know for doing that but you always try it out, in a pinch i've used oil before but it's not always the best for lube. A can of tri-flo at the hardware store will work great and should last a long time if you just use it for your bearings. If you have a lot of gun cleaning supplys maybe you have something called rem oil, it'll work good enough to keep your bearings lubed and doesn't leave a residue behind.
Q: i was putting a new tire on my gt dyno when it got really hard to pedal i ve smashed them before but it was my Friends bike! and was wondering if i should get the newest bearings?
nonsense question no info wle
Q: This makes no sense to me...you put a little grease into a bearing cap, the bearings are looser, and they run better. Heat down.So you put in a lot of grease they should be too loose or run too slick. But that's not what happens in real life. Instead, they overheat. Why on Earth would they overheat? It's not like they are lacking needed air to cool down. Can anyone explain?
When you put grease into bearings (cone and cup of a ball or roller bearing set) it does not change the tolerance of the bearings, i.e., make them looser. The grease fills the voids between the moving parts and takes up the tolerance with grease. If bearing tolerances are too great, or the bearing lacks sufficient grease, then differential loading will cause some parts to have significantly less tolerance than other parts and there will be points of excessively high load in some areas of the working parts. This will create excessive friction and heating.
Q: I just took my car to the shop and found out that the carrier bearing is going out on my car, I need a new one. I was told that the only way to get one is off a salvage car or to buy a new drive shaft because Ford does not sell this part seperate. This has been a huge problem with the Ford Fusions and like it such as the Milan. So my question is, has any of you had this problem and found this part somewhere other than buying a new drive shaft?

Q: I recently had a repair done to my vehicle, and on the bill, they noted wheel bearings make noise. I went back in to ask the mechanic, and he stated to me that if I drive down the road I hear a roaring noise, and those are my wheel bearings. I asked him if this is something I should get taken care of right away, and he stated, no, not until it is very loud, so loud that you cannot drown the noise out with the car radio. Is this an accurate answer, or should I take care of this sooner rather than later. Can anyone give me a ballpark figure of what it would cost to have my front wheel bearings replaced? Thank you.
That 'mechanic' is an idiot. At the first sign of noise any wheel bearing should be replaced. Seviceable wheel bearing do not make noise and if one fails it could lead to a serious accident. At the very least it could ruin the wheel hub.
Q: Any suggestions? Been lookin around.. found arsenal abec 9s reeeeallly cheep but i cant find them anywhere to see how bad they are if i can get 16 for $10. Secondly my skates are about 4 years old should i get new spacers as well?
$10 isn't bad for a set of bearings, especially ABEC-9's. However, bearings are overrated. Unless you are a pro, and can utilize any gains you get from top of the line bearings, you can get away with any old style of bearing. I get mine from my neighbor. He is a supplier of industrial bearings. I get them form him for about 25 cents each. I have gotten a bunch for my friends as well. They all say to a man they can't tell the difference. Spacers shouldn't wear out, so unless you have another set of wheels, you shouldn't need more that 8 spacers. I get second and third sets to make wheel changes easier. I play on wood, concrete, and sport court, and can't afford three pairs of skates, so I change wheels for each surface. Have a good one! Steve.
