Q: My tail light work but when i hit the breaks everything go out. Any answers? Standard 4 wire
you might have a broken wire check the plug to see if the prongs aren't broken or damaged also check bulbs
Q: Source 115V 20A breakerI have 12/2 wire and want to wire this:GFCI 15A receptacle -to- 15A receptacle -to- 15A receptacleI have basic wiring skills, just need reassurance. Thanks.
Comment: I don't know why john said to use a 6 piece of wire and wire nut the blacks together. Why not use the screws provided for wiring through? Why go through the trouble of making a pigtail ? Edit; I stand corrected.
Q: is it ok for a 32mm square THHN wire
wow,if this is the question,no offense, you need to hire a electrician also you can not use 90c rating unless lugs or breaker has a 90c rating.
Q: I have a Hunter 5 minute fan. I have four wires coming from my ceiling. Red, Black, White, and Bare Copper. The Fan has a Green Wire, Black Wire, White WIre,and a Black/White striped Wire. The Ceiling Plate also has green wire. I know to connect the black to black, red to black/white striped, white to white. But for the green and copper wires, do I connect the copper wire from the ceiling to the green wire in the ceiling plate and also to the green wire from the fan?
This Site Might Help You. RE: Where do I connect the green ground wires on my ceiling fan? I have a Hunter 5 minute fan. I have four wires coming from my ceiling. Red, Black, White, and Bare Copper. The Fan has a Green Wire, Black Wire, White WIre,and a Black/White striped Wire. The Ceiling Plate also has green wire. I know to connect the black to black, red to black/white striped,...
Q: my light stopped working ( a chandalier ). It has brown wires, blue wires, red wires, beige wires, and white wires.
How many lamps (bulbs) does it have? Larger chandeliers are capable of being switched on/off in layers (so you might have 3 switches for a 12-lamp fitting) All you can do is trace the coloured wires to each lampholder to ID live/neutrals (Multimeter with power OFF)
Q: im confused which wires are what, theres two wires...no colors?
There is a difference between the wires. One of the wires should have a ridge along its entire length. This is the neutral (white) wire. The neutral connects to the shells of the sockets and the hot wires to the center. once you peel the two wire apart you will see that one has little ridges that should be the neutral. the other way is to use a ohm or continuity meter. The center part of a light socket is the hot. neutral goes to white the other to black. good luck and i hope that this is a help to you
Q: I bought a new light that holds two light bulbs for my bathroom and quickly took off the old light. I then noticed that wall had three wires coming from it, a black, red, and white. The light however has four wires coming from it, 2 whites and 2 blacks. How do i wire this properly so both light bulbs can be turned on and off simultaneously?
Since you have a black, red, and white wire coming out of the wall, this tells me you have a 3-way switch (meaning the light can be controlled by two different switches, correct?) If you only have one switch operating this light, then one of the wires may be (against building code rules) used as 'ground'. If only one switch is used with the light, then you'll need to switch the breaker off, then pull out the switch and see if a wire is attached to the green screw (ground). Black wire: Hot Red wire: Hot (three way circuit) White: Neutral Green or bare copper: ground
Q: 6000+ heat sinc wires?i up graded my cpu and the new heat sinc has a 4 wire conector and my old 3800+ heat sinc has 3 and mobo has 3 pin processor works great. sys recognizes amd 6000+ dual core processor @ 3.0 ghz but not the model #???? sys works great scored 10143 on 3DMARK 06 anyway the fan and temp s are all good any ideas what the other wire is
Yes, the fan on your heat sink has a fourth wire that..............(tune back in tommorrow folks, for the conclusion), (sorry, somebody's telling jokes over here!) The fourth wire is a Speed control wire. The first wire,(Red), is 12VDC,(power), the second,(Black), is the ground, should be a Blue wire, for rpm sensor, and the fourth,(color codes vary), is the wire that the BIOS uses to speed the fan up when the temp of the cpu raises, slows the fan down, when it isn't used as hard. Temp of the cpu, is found through one of it's pins on the bottom of it.
Q: I have a physics project and my teacher is saying that we should do a wire loop toy?? What the hell is that. Can anybody give me a example and how it is related to physics?? Pls answer back
Wire loop toys mean wire connected to your toy and a handle along with battery.
Q: Two long straight parallel wires are 12 cm apart. Wire A carries 2.5 A current. Wire B's current is 3.7 A in t?Two long straight parallel wires are 12 cm apart. Wire A carries 2.5 A current. Wire B's current is 3.7 A in the same direction.1) Determine the magnetic field magnitude due to wire A at the position of wire BB = ? T2) Determine the magnetic field due to wire B at the position of wire A.B = ? T3) Are these two magnetic fields equal and opposite? Why or why not?4) Determine the force on wire A due to wire B, and the force on wire B due to wire A.
(1) wire-A B = (uo)(I) / (2pi * r) B = (1.26E-6)(2.5) / (2pi * 0.12) B = 4.17E-6
