Q: what size of wire should I use for my 1.5hp aircon, 220volt
If the distance to the power source is 100 ft or less a #10 wire should work. If it is further than that you should call an electrician. added note: # 14 copper is for light service wire. It would max out under use with an AC and possibly overheat.
Q: What Spark Plugs and Wires would optimize my MPG? 2000 Bonneville SSEI
any plugs + wires will help the mpg a bit if the plugs are gapped correctly before installation
Q: I just bought a remote starter/keyless entry/alarm system, i'm looking to install it myself... I'm just wondering what gauge wire that most cars use.I'm assuming power wires are lower gauge then others, Could I use 16 gauge for power lines or would i need something larger? Thanks in advanced.
For the best answers, search on this site https://shorturl.im/awrkt Just the head unit itself? 18 gauge is usually plenty for the typical 50x4 watt stereos. MAKE SURE there is a fuse in that wire, though! (closest to the battery is best) so you don't have a fire if it shorts out!!! Amps will need heavier wire.

Q: what are the differences between wired and wireless microphones? and what are the Pros and Cons of having a wired mic, pros and cons of a wireless?Thanks......
Wired microphones have a wire to connect it. Wireless ones don't. Pros and cons? Do you want wires?
Q: How can u do a wire transfer? Is there anything extra that is needed to do this? Are you able to make a wire transfer from your home computer?
A wire transfer is that exact same as sending cash. As soon as it is gone. It is gone. The bank can not protect you. I suggest using a credit card. If they will only accept wire transfer as payment I would be very thorough on my research into the company and know exactly who I was dealing with. I would pay the extra fees via pay-pal where you have some protection. If he is a fraud and you wire money, you are out the money unless you hire an attorney to help you get it back which will probably cost you more than the 8k. I'd buy local if you can in this instance.
Q: Ok. so i wired my cd deck into my 92 buick, but everytime i start the car i have to manually turn on the cd deck. i also have to change the settings everytime! and once i turn off the car the setting will not save and the setting will be lost. Now everytime i turn my car on i have to manually put the settings again! this did not happen in my old car! and i think it might be the wiring! Because the last cd deck i had did save the settings! and would turn thge cd player on everytime i turned on my car!! and it would play the track back, right where i left off. please help! i did attach the yellow cable wire the red cable to the battery current.? is there a problem!
You should have the yellow power wire connected to constant power and the red wired to ACC. You don't and this is why it's bahiving the way it is.
Q: Thermostat has two red wires two black wires. The baseboard has one red one black wire.
That thermostat is a two pole switch. (It opens both lines). Just follow the color codes. Your incoming 'line` might be a two wire run, (Black, White, + Gnd.). In this case just treat that white as a 'Line' wire, (Red). It Should be marked, but sometimes they don't do it. Black, (Line) to Black, T (Stat). Black (T Stat), to Black (Heater). Same for the Reds. The T Stat. should be marked 'Line' 'Load' if it matters with that unit. Some Cautions: 1. Don't try to work it 'live'. 2. If the line wires are black white, be sure that you have a 240V. circuit. -(Two pole breaker). 3. Coil your 'pigtails' (connecting wires), so that the insulation doesn't contact the hot parts of the heater.
Q: wire colors and funtions

Q: Hi, I've got two new appliances (range hood fan/light and bathroom exhaust fan). Both are installed but not wired. My house is older, build in 1940s and the previous appliances were wired using the existing copper wiring which runs through the house. I'd like to electrically install these new appliances but am concerned about connecting the new appliance wiring (aluminum wiring i think?) to the copper wiring in the house. Is it safe to pigtail these two wires together? Or is there a better, more safe method? Thanks
Most building wire is copper, UL wouldn't allow dangerous cords to be used with normal wire.
