Q:All of the quot;vaccum uprug cleaners say to quot;use with a fresh bag in the vacuumDoes that mean they are not appropriate for use with bagless vacuums ? Have any of you out there tried it ? I'd hate to ruin my bagless vac, esp. since it's a pricey Dyson.: I would Not use the bagless vacuum, I'm thinking the particles from the spray my get lodged in the intricate parts of your vacuum and do something to it. If the particles are trapped in a bag no damage is done. I'm just guessing.Good luck.

Q:don't say the noise, because i remember one occasion i was in my friends house and the dog started chasing me.so i ran round the table and reached for the vacuum (which wasn't on) and it immediately started to back off. now before you say something like it knows the noise....this Dog was a huge puppy.so i doubt MEMORY would have been great.: Some dogs are some aren't. My dog doesn't mind the vacuum cleaner at all. I'm always telling him to move when I'm cleaning or I'd have to run over him.

Canister or upright, bag or bag-less, you know what you need. Don't spend a lot of money. Most units are made so cheaply they may be considered disposable.
