With the development of the demand of telecommunication, the requirement of
optical cable in some kinds of industries like multimedia, internet and videoconference which need high transmission speed makes
optical cable become the basic media of transmission. We use the normal
and nonzero dispersion single mode optical fiber for the optical cables to
run the transmission mode like SDH/SONET,ATM and the transmission system like WDM,
DWDM efficiently.
The structure of GYDXTS (outdoor optical cables used for telecommunication with metallic central strength, optical fiber belt central tube filling style, and steel- polyethylene cover) is covering the inner-fulfilled waterproof compound loose tube, which is made of high modulus plastic, with the single mode optical fiber. The thin round shape steel wire will be used as a strength devise armored outside the loose tube. The steel-PE cover will become the optical cable. |

- Q: Does anyone with an Xbox 360 or someone that knows stuff about AC power cords tell me if the Belkin Standard Power Cable can be used with the xbox 360?Best answer gets 5.
- Yep its the same thing as the 1 that came with the Xbox 360 but not made by Microsoft. Only problem is you'll still need the power block that came with the xbox 360.
- Q: does anyone know a website that has like a chart with pictures of the different power supply connectors and where in the desktop computer they go all I know is the 24 pin goes to the motherboard and the 6 pin goes to my graphics card
- Its on your motherboard factory web site. usually there is a 4 or 8 pin for the mobo PCI bridge, sata, pata, power connectors for drives. smaller for floppy, blue wire for PSU fan speed report. just find out what FORM you need, most are ATX.
- Q: I don't have the power cable no more..its an 8 pin power cable and it has on the back120v24v12v5vits a round adaptor and it looks like an old computer keyboard but it has 8 pins.thanksromeo
- Sounds like you need a standard S-Video Cable, available just about anywhere. We can get them locally at the 99cent only store, walmart, target, ect
- Q: What is the best tool or method in your opinion to locate cable damage causing current leak on several cables supplying outdoor lighting as detected by a tripping GFCI breaker. (Or water in a light obviously). Is there a meter that can measure that directly with the power off?
- I usually have one of my kids lick their finger and run it along the cable. a lightbulb in the mouth helps.
- Q: trying to install garbage disposal and need it powered.I wanted to use this computer cable because the one that was with disposal got damaged.I would like to know how to determine which of the three (brown, blue, yellow) wires is ground. And for other two does it matter which way they are connected? Thanks in advance.
- Normal color code would be Brown - HOT, Blue - NEUTRAL, and Green/Yellow stripe - GROUND. I would be most comfortable using an ohmmeter to test continuity. If you have one, or have a friend with one, the Brown wire should go to the blade in the bottom of your photo, the blue to the blade at the top (the one that goes into the Wide slot in the receptacle) and the yellow to the round pin. But, if they don't go to those pins, just make a note of which pins they do go to and wire your disposer accordingly. In the absence of an ohmmeter or a friend, you might take the cable to a Radio Shack store or an automotive stereo installation shop. RS sells ohmmeters and may have a display unit you can use. The auto stereo shop will have one and know how to use it. As for whether it makes a difference how the hot and neutral wires are connected, the answer is that it absolutely does make a difference. Reversing them introduces a risk of electrical shock at worst, or at the least popping the GFCI breaker if there is one on that circuit. If there isn't one, you might want to consider installing one. It's cheap insurance. Good luck.
- Q: HiIs it advisable to run 110VAC cable from the sub stationa and 110VAC cable from generator (clean) in the same conduit ; one of them for lighting and the other for CCTV; the concern is if the one for lighting is not clean (not consisting of a pure sine wave or carrying interference) would that effect the power line of the CCTV and has an effect on the picture? even though both are 110VAC.the installation is over seas where the power from the station is not consistence.
- if all the wires are rated the same you won't have a problem, but make sure you don't share the neutral with both circuits or you could get some interference. Run separate neutrals for each circuit and make sure your CCTV is on a dedicated circuit
- Q: Hi. I recently purchased an EVGA Geforce GTX 670 FTW video card that need two 6 pins pci-e power cables. The problem is that the 2 in my pc have L shaped dongles in which one can't connect to the video card due to how it's designed. Is there any way to extend the dongle for reach? Are there any adapters that I can add to it? All knowledge sharing and suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
- That one splits a 6 pin PCI-E connector to two 6 pin connectors. This one is potentially a problem waiting to happen. If power is not adequate you don't want to split a connector to provide power to each plug. If you determined you don't have an adequate power supply then you need to consider replacing it and when you do you should have all the connectors you need for your system. Please do make sure you have adequate power. You could cause your system to not work properly or worse cause permanent damage by trying to run it with inadequate power. Hope that helped! Good luck!
- Q: we need to feed power of 60kW to island villa
- the current will be about 87 Amps. You can use 3ph,4 or3 1/2 core, 400V,35 sq mm copper marine cable
- Q: some one told me that cisco get this router without AC power it get the power from the network cable?
- Let's just clarify a thing or two: Most networking equipment uses AC power. All routers and switches (or, at least 99% of them) must be powered from an AC wall outlet. However, a wireless access point or an IP telephone may receive power from it's attached ethernet cable. Where does the power come from? The device on the other end of the cable must be supplying power through the cable. This is called PoE (power-over-ethernet) and there is at least one IEEE standard for this, and one Cisco-proprietary standard. Typical devices that can supply power are switches (not all switches) and power injectors. A power injector is a palm-sized device that you insert between a non-PoE switch and a client device to inject power into the ethernet cable. The injector must be wall powered to function. Some routers, particularly ISR (integrated services routers) routers can suypply PoE, too. So, usually routers do not receive PoE. Often, switches provide PoE. Usually, access points receive PoE. Make sense?
- Q: are the power cable for the super nintendo and nintendo 64 the same?
- No the power cable is not the same. The video cable is the same though. It's the same for SNES, N64 and the Gamecube
