With the development of the demand of telecommunication, the requirement of
optical cable in some kinds of industries like multimedia, internet and videoconference which need high transmission speed makes
optical cable become the basic media of transmission. We use the normal
and nonzero dispersion single mode optical fiber for the optical cables to
run the transmission mode like SDH/SONET,ATM and the transmission system like WDM,
DWDM efficiently.
The structure of GYDXTS (outdoor optical cables used for telecommunication with metallic central strength, optical fiber belt central tube filling style, and steel- polyethylene cover) is covering the inner-fulfilled waterproof compound loose tube, which is made of high modulus plastic, with the single mode optical fiber. The thin round shape steel wire will be used as a strength devise armored outside the loose tube. The steel-PE cover will become the optical cable. |

- Q: Also why is it called quot;phantompower? Don't you think there should be a seperate category for technical questions about music!!?
- Yes, you can. I have a Beyer MCE-81 that requires phantom power and it takes an XLR cable. As for why it's called phantom power, the term refers to a power source external to the microphone, usually either in the form of a phantom power module or a power source built into each channel of a mixing console. Some mikes, by contrast, require a battery for their power source--I used to have a Sony mike that took a C battery.
- Q: I'm curious, because I was looking through the 'combo deals' for a part for a potential build, and one of them was a SATA cable (item itself was a hard drive). Does Newegg, or for that matter any major computer retailer, sell products that come with all the cables you need to actually use the part? I guess I'm primarily concerned with Hard Drives and Disk Drives in this case... oh, and PSUs I guess. And the mobo, will that have the power cable?
- Depending on what the combo contains, it may have the cables. - A power supply comes with a power cable for the outlet, and the usualy cables you find on a power supply... - A motherboard comes with 2 or 3 SATA cables, O/I shield, screws needed to mount ot case, manual, driver disk - JUST Hard Drives...well just the hard drive (NewEgg does not included any cables unless stated) - Graphics cards...adapters, manual, old drivers - Case: cables that connect to the motherboard (On/reset buttons, USB ports, Firewire, fans, sound/mic jacks) Hope this answers your question.
- Q: Can I do the big 3 upgrade by only doing the 2 ground cables(battery to chassis and engine block to chassis) now and doing the power to the alternator at another time? Will this give me a little performance boost until I can get enough material?
- no, that would be a waste of your time. having a fatter ground won't mean anything if the power wire is the same. you would be better doing the power wires only. problem with that is, there will be built up current that can't dissipate fast enough before damage is done
- Q: Hi, Whether it will causes any problem the power and speaker in a same path? I dont have a separate path for speakers to mount it in wall. I plan to use the existing path which is used for other electrical items. If i use the same path for electrical wire and speaker wire, it will damage the speaker or will make any short circuit in the electrical line?Thank you.
- If you parallel a power cord, you could get 60 cycle in the speaker cord. This is why they would like you to run them at least 4 apart. However, you might not be able to do that. It will not damage the wire, nor create a short circuit. Just possible noise (a low frequency buzz).
- Q: Also i want to add more power cables to power my hardrives WHAT SHOULD I BUY !!?
- Most all motherboards have like 6-10 SATA ports on them, meaning you can connect 6 sata devices (hard drive or dvd drives). Your power supply is what gives you sata power cables. Your psu needs to have the cables already built into it, since the psu has to have the power to actually power all those devices, so it only comes with cables of what its capable of powering. There are 4pin molex adapters which allow you to use a 4pin molex to power sata devices. So you would need to buy sata cables to connect drive to motherboard, and your psu needs to be capable of powering them. You may need to buy a new psu.
- Q: i'm having a power cable coming from the feeder pillar going to utility box that serving a yacht, i'm having few cut off in that cable what is the most good idea to repair it without replacing the cable and what is the material that used in that ?
- Have you got an anti surge socket to even out any voltage spike in line? I have and I've had several power cuts and my computer has never been affected. If not, then there is a possibility that you have blown the motherboard or the PSU. The reason this happens is your PSU drops the mains voltage from 240V to about 4.5V or less that your motherboard uses. Now when you get a power cut, when the switches in the power lines drop out, as the gap in the switch increases the voltage will jump as the current is trying to jump the gap. Thus for a few milliseconds the voltage in the mains can jump up to 20% which take it up to about 280V. Push that ratio all the way along and your motherboard voltage will jump to about 6V. Poof! Motherboard blown. Your only option is to put it into a workshop and find out exactly what damage you have done to it. You may be lucky as some manufacturers fit internal anti surge fuses.
- Q: I installed a new Power supply after my old one stopped working. I bought a Thermaltake TR2 500W. I connected everything that needed to be connected but it would not turn on. Then i disconnected the 4pin cable that goes to the motherboard, and it turned on. But my monitor didn't detect anything so it just went into quot;sleep modequot;. So every time i connect the 4 pin PCI-E connection to the motherboard it just doesn't turn on. Please help
- You might have a DOA power supply or motherboard. It might just have problems with the connections. Sounds like the problem is the motherboard if 2 power supplies dont work on it. I would consider getting a new motherboard.
- Q: i wanna know how much distance should be in between the power cable and the cat5 cable
- after standards cat5 cables are not run parralell with power cables, instead intersected
- Q: I currently have a 250 watt 2 channel power cord and a 500 watt alpine amp with 2 12 inch mtx terminator subs..i am continuously blowing blade fuses and i ended up buying a 680 watt power cable. Will this blow out my amp or do any damage or will it be all good and give the maximum power my amp can supply? (Without exploding) just wondering thanks!
- 250 watt power cord? Where are the fuses which are being blown? Maybe you put in the wrong fuses or the wrong amperage fuse.
- Q: Will it work if I put a pigtail (connect the wires by twisting them together) or does that stop it from working properly..
- If you know how to do a reasonably-competent job and cover your splices with heat shrink tubing, there is no problem. Note that if we're talking about the cable that connects to the laptop, the current is fairly high (3A or so) so the splice cannot be thinner than the wire in the cable at any point. The splice should be both mechanically and electrically solid. If there's a bulge, a thin part, wire sticking out, loose tape ends, or any other such nonsense, the cord should *definitely* not be used. Any signs of incompetent assembly should be cause for completely disassembling and inspecting the splice.
