- The first rugs you are looking at are called, Scatter rugs for the most part. They should have larger sizes. Bear in mind that most carpet is made in 12 feet widths. The length can be any, but the normal room size rug sizes are 9 X 12, 12 X 12 and up. Those dimensions are in feet. The smaller rugs may be 4 X 6, 6 X 9, and some smaller. If you wish to cover the largest part of your floor, you must measure the room. Then keep in mind the 12 feet width. Do not overlook doors which must clear a rug. You may have consider a size that will avoid a door dragging the carpet. You mentioned covering the entire house, which is Wall to Wall. This requires installation. - lay the rug out upside down and place some weight on the problem ares....boxes of books, or canned goods for example...it don't have to be too heavy. let it go for a few days and then turn the rug over and do the same with any problem areas

- Generally they are fine as long as the straps are properly adjusted, however, being horses they can usually find some way of damaging the rug with very little effort - mine usually manages to lose the leg straps. If a horse did get caught it is more likely that the rug would tear ( they have built-in weak spots) than that the horse would get seriously stuck.

- I live in Australia, Therefore to me floating a horse means transporting a horse to another place by float. Rugging a horse on a float really depends on the horse itself whether it sweats alot or gets nervous. I have one horse that sweats alot when on the float therefore on a hot day she goes without a rug, and on a cold day she just goes with a light cotton rug so she doesn't sweat. But my other horse doesn't sweat at all when on a float so on a hot day he would wear a cotton and on a warm day he would wear a kersy (fleecy rug). It really depends on what type of horse you have, if he is hot blooded and sweats alot or if he is a cold blooded horse. Hope this helped.
- Q: We recently had a storm and I had water damage in my bedroom and the carpet was soaked. A company came out and extracted the water and steam cleaned the carpets but I can still smell that wet carpet smell. Any ideas on how to get rid of the stinch?
- I think the only way to get that smell out is to air it out for days or weeks, any time your at home open the window in that room if you can , air the carpet out and keep spraying it lighty with something that smells good while airing.
