If it doesnt work good enough, you could try removing some carpet from hidden areas such as closets or whatever and carefully cutout little sections of the painted carpet and superglue the other carpet in there. I recommend a Rambo New Zealand rug , if you can get one ; they never shift no matter how much rolling . My big Thoroughbred had one with a net lining , it better not to coddle them too much .

Some newer carpets can be stretched in w/ a crab stretcher.. That is ok on some carpets.. DON T let any one install by just a knee kicker you ll have wrinkles in the carpet within a year or 2.. And it can still happen on occasion w/ a stretcher but it s rare.. GL
