- first follow the instrctions to get the plastic in place. then run the hairdryer over the plastic,back and forth, till the plastic is taut. read the instructions on the kit.yes, you need to have a kit. you can get them at walmart or most hardware stores. figure a coupld of bucks per window. all the best.

- Q: I have a Renault Clio authentique 1.2L and it has electric windows....there is a plastic clip attached to the back of the glass that i presume keeps the glass coming up and down at the right angle but it comes up really slowly and some times not at all....i think it has something to do either with the plastic clip or it needs more lubrication.....any help is appreciated. - Q: So we just moved into an old home that is notorious for being difficult to keep warm in the winter. The previous tenants had plastic on the windows to keep the cold out. Well, its July here and keeping the cold out is no longer a concern. The plastic looks terrible and if its not serving a purpose, I'd like to take it down for the summer and fall season. - rip it off - the best thing in the winter - is styrofoam covering windows - its 1/2 inch or thicker - insulates way much better - with plastic over the styrofoam - teeth cold - summer - take them off - reinstall for winter - and for an extra bonus - the home invader wont see whats coming to his face breaking in - TACTICAL ADVANTAGE AND A GOOD ONE - yes take down the plastic - too hot in summer

- No as long as you see the light going through this only affects pets the need to bask in the sun and get UVA/B rays from the sun for Vitamin D because plastic and glass filters out the rays not the light.
- Q: ok i have a corvette 1986 convertible. The car isn't perfect but i love it. the main problem for me is the rear plastic window. It is brown and is not visible at all to the inside for the outside. I need to know if there is any product out there that can go beyond the cleaning of oxidation. i want the window clear again. And yes it has been left outside for about 5 years to face the elements but i was not the first owner so i presume that it has been outside longer. so the question comes down to how do make the window go from brown to clear without buying a new top.
- It is replaceable fairly cheap by an auto trim shop if it wont clean up. any good plastic cleaner applied carefully might do the trick but at that age i'm doubtful,,the car is worth if you have to replace it or call me and i'll buy the whole car!!
