Aluminum or PVC (UPVC) window is being made from Aluminum or UPVC profile, window accessories and glass.

To produce an Aluminum or PVC window you have to do the following steps:

Cut the profiles (Aluminum or uPVC Profile, reinforcement and Glazing bead)
Put reinforcement profile inside the uPVC profiles
Screw reinforcement profile into PVC profile
End mill the mullions
Open holes for door handles, sash fastener channels and espagnolette
Weld uPVC profile or Crimping Aluminum profile
Clean the welded corners of uPVC windows
Assemble window

Q:what is the difference between acrylic and plastic window vent visors ?: Plastic is a generic term that can apply to many different materials. Acrylic is a specific type of plastic. That said, there are many types of acrylics as well. A common acrylic used in automotive applications would be polymethyl methacrylate, also know under the trade name Plexiglas. Polycarbonates are also commonly used and are sometimes referred to as acrylics but technically they are not acrylics at all. In this application I'd probably prefer a polycarbonate as it would be more durable and less likely to craze with repeated washing. Something sold as acrylic would come second and anything generically referred to as plastic a distant third place.

Q:Most of the windows in our home are pretty drafty. We've been putting up the thin, shrink with a hair dryer Duck plastic in our windows for winter to help with the drafts. I want to make some window quilts for this winter to help, but I'm not sure how to combine them with the plastic, or if we should just use them with out the plastic. Would it be more effective to plastic right around the window, inside of the frame, and then hang the quilt right on top of the plastic, or hang the quilt outside the frame, or just hang the quilt directly on the window with out the plastic?: I would go with 4mm plastic - it is fairly opaque, but it is far better at keeping the cold out. Cover the whole window including the frame with the plastic, then hang your quilt over it. You should notice a big difference, and the pretty quilt will hide the ugly plastic. : )

I also want something transparent.Thanks: One of the cheapest places to get it if you can do it yourself is at Lowe's. They sell a large variety of tint with different shades and performance for windows and doors you can custom cut. If you are trying to save energy, they have a heat reflective film that I believe is up to 90% heat reflexive. It is in transparent and mirrored coatings. If you plan on removing it, make sure you get the static cling style and you can remove it and reuse it against next season because there isn't any adhedsives left on the film or glass. Make sure you really wet the glass and film on installation. Good luck!

Q:do plastic windows weigh less then glass in a car: Yes, but you have to use a certified type of plastic. It has to react in a certain way in a collision. It's also thinner and offers less sound insulation. This is why very few road-legal cars have plastic windows, save for stripped out exotic cars like the Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera, Ferrari F430 Scuderia, Aston Martin V8 Vantage N24, and I believe the Porsche 911 GT3 RS has some plastic windows.

Q:The back window on my convertible got a hole put in it last winter, since then I've just been using tape to keep it together. I have a new plastic window complete with trim that will make a suitable replacement, I just need to know what kind of adhesive and how to apply it so that it stays put when the top is up and folds accordingly when the top goes down. I'd like to remove the old back window as well.: Either have it sewn in or get rid of the car. It will look like crap if you attempt to glue it in place.

Q:Jeep Wrangler rear plastic windows?: you may have a little air getting inside they have to be fixed tight as a drum. check sealant.. we used them 2 winters ago when we had old windows...we did have a lot of draft, but had to seal as much as you can on the windows before fixing the plastic..once done you should not be using the hairdryer again..hope this has helped..

Q:I own a 323i bmw convertible. I just replaced the top but the back plastic window is already starting to cloud. I was recommended a wax called ziond or something along those lines. It worked the first time but is now turning the window yellow. I dont wish to replace the window so i was wondering if anyone knew an easier option? such as some home remedy to grease it off. idk ive tried everything!thanks!: its worn out/can do nothing now

Q:I really ought to have asked this yesterday. How can I help my plastic-and-duct-tape car window survive a torrential downpour/thunderstorm??? It's the front, passenger-side window, and I can't get the glass replaced until Wednesday. :S What can I do???: Duct tape is not worth the paper the bill is printed on. Try to keep it in a garage or put a tarp over it until Wednesday.
