Steps of PVC UPVC Sliding Window and Door construction:
Aluminum or PVC (UPVC) window is being made from Aluminum or UPVC profile, window accessories and glass.
To produce an Aluminum or PVC window you have to do the following steps:
Cut the profiles (Aluminum or uPVC Profile, reinforcement and Glazing bead)
Put reinforcement profile inside the uPVC profiles
Screw reinforcement profile into PVC profile
End mill the mullions
Open holes for door handles, sash fastener channels and espagnolette
Weld uPVC profile or Crimping Aluminum profile
Clean the welded corners of uPVC windows

- It will work the same as the winterization kits but you probably won't be able to heatshrink it to get rid of wrinkles and it may not be as transparent.

- Plastic is a generic term that can apply to many different materials. Acrylic is a specific type of plastic. That said, there are many types of acrylics as well. A common acrylic used in automotive applications would be polymethyl methacrylate, also know under the trade name Plexiglas. Polycarbonates are also commonly used and are sometimes referred to as acrylics but technically they are not acrylics at all. In this application I'd probably prefer a polycarbonate as it would be more durable and less likely to craze with repeated washing. Something sold as acrylic would come second and anything generically referred to as plastic a distant third place.

Ive been looking for the answer online and can only find tutorials on how to use the tint on regular glass car windows. - If you can afford it get a set of full doors and you'll have the best of both worlds. In the winter I have a hard top with full doors for comfort goodness, in the summer I switch to the soft top and half doors. You are better able to enjoy having the top off with the half doors. watch craigslist for a set of full doors and surrounds. they will coat between 500 and a grand most likely. More if you get the hard top too. unzipping the windows isn't that big of a deal really.

- If okorder store around you, you can order of their website and get it sent to their store and not pay any shipping at all. Also, you might want to try Craigslist. sometimes people are selling them cheap on there to get rid of them for one reason or another.

- You can buy solar reflective film of amazon to stick to your windows to reflect some sunlight however this can be quite difficult to apply. If its humid trying buying a dehumidifier- takes the moisture out of the air which helps to make conditions more comfortable. Insulating the floor wouldn't be that beneficial as most, you want to reduce insulation in your loft and upper rooms! Hot air rises, so don't trap it!

- The plastic window kits that shrink (via a hairdryer) work well. No need to weatherstrip them as well.
- Q: I'm moving out of my apartment in a couple weeks and i have these plastic-like window blinds around the place. I was wondering if anyone knew how to get these things clean without taking them down? They're supposed to be white but I'm noticing a couple yellowish-brownish stains on them. I've tried all sorts of chemicals to try and get these things cleaned. No luck at all.
- Use a blind brush to get rid of any dust, then put warm water and 2 teaspoons of vinegar in. Vinegar is a natural cleaner. (Maybe use febreeze on them after to get rid of the smell) How are doing?
