- We have always had good luck with Nature's Miracle. I know they have it at PetSmart but I would assume they sell it in a variety of stores. If the carpet is dry now you can get a few big boxes of baking soda and sprinkle it over the carpet, let it work for a few days and then heavy vacuum. It is cheap so spread on a good thick coat of it.

- Q: Okay so for the past few years I've been making latch hook rugs. They take up too much space and I was wondering if there is a way to sell these? I don't really have people to sell them to, and I was wondering how one would go about getting rid of these projects while not throwing away all your cash. - Try club soda, there's no sugar in it. My husband worked for Coca Cola for 32 years and I have worked for Country Clubs and Club soda takes the stain out.
- Q: i put a very hot pot on a carpet
- first off , WHY ?? , you need to have some of the same carpet , cut out the bad carpet ( you need to cut it out between the row's ) then do the same with the piece that you are going to put in ( make sure that it's the same size ) then silicone the edges on both pieces and let it dry , next put double face tape down on top of the pad ( if glued down skip this step ) then you need to use seam glue on all edges , next carefully put in the new piece and roll it with a tractor (carpet tool ) then set something heavy on top of it and let it dry over night and roll it with the tractor again.

- Is this rug like a throw rug or is it like carpet? Either way you can sew them. If it is carpet, attached to the floor, then cut a small piece from behind a door or inside of a closet. Use that to replace the damaged part by sewing it in. You can make a carpet needle by holding a large needle over the flame on your stove using a pair of pliers. With a second pair of pliers bend the needle into a half circle. Let it cool before touching it of course. Then just sew the piece into the damaged area. I've had to do that many a time with my puppies.
