- Personally, I would say get one. My 2 month old nephew LOVES his bouncer. It often gets him to stop crying when nothing else will. I've also learned they are great for little power naps when you don't want to move them to the crib or if they are staying the night with someone who doesn't have a crib and you would prefer them not to co-sleep. Warning though, don't put your baby in it after they are circumcised. Wait until your son has healed up down there or he will be sore from the bouncer. If you don't want to buy one put it on your registry for the baby shower. They aren't too expensive at Wal-Mart. If you don't get it at the baby shower look around at garage or yard sales, ask friends if they have any from when their baby was younger, or look at consignment shops like Goodwill or Once Upon a Child.

- Q: I was thinking of how I might make affordable wedding chair covers for my wedding, but I have found that polyester is very expensive by the yard. I was thinking of making them with cotton and then making the same cover in tulle to fit over the cotton. That would make it to layers of material over the chair. Does that sound totally ridiculous?
- That's quite the undertaking. Very ambitions. Especially since you are going to be making 2/chair for your plans. I would ask yourself some questions. What could you rent them for versus make them? I know here in the St. Louis area you can get them for $3-$4/chair. It may only cost you a dollar to make one, but your personal time may be more valuable, and your sanity. Also, note that when you rent chair covers generally the company comes and does a professional install and makes sure they are all pressed. You might be able to negotiate if you agree to pick them up and install yourself. Also, how many guests will you have? At my establishment we only order one extra cover. Will you need to make many more? What happens if you run short? If you rent and they short you they will have to get it to you.
