Q:Hello,I am trying to figure out what type of metal jewelry wire I need for a beading project. I found mostly copper wire at the craft store, as well as a smaller variety of aluminum and brass wire. Is this copper wire (came in many colors) a durable wire? It seemed very soft. Is there a stronger wire on the market? I am mostly looking for 22-28 gauge wire. Thanks!
there are an entire heap of distinctive wires for all of the diverse issues you additionally could make. so as that is my first question, what do you ought to make? in case you're only beginning out, i'd advise paying for a sturdy determination of distinctive wires and prepare to discover what works for you. inventive wires or craft wires are suitable as they are much less costly. you additionally can circulate with silver/gold plated wires.
Q:What does the quot;Hstand for in quot;AWG 34Hwire?Also, would Heavy Poly Nylon magnetic wire be considered enameled?
Magnet wire is often called varnished or enameled, but it is actually insulated with a thin coating of insulating material designed specifically for the purpose. I assume that heavy poly nylon material is one of those materials. The H is probably the temperature class of the insulation. Class H insulation is rated to operate at up to 180 degrees C. Edit 1 The H could also stand for heavy as in the heavy build or double build terminology used to describe thicker than standard insulation. It is part of a specific manufacturer's catalog number rather than a part of the American Wire Gauge (AWG) designation. Manufacturer's sell many different varieties of magnet wire. The manufacturer's literature and NEMA or IEC standards provide details regarding the insulation materials used and the electrical and mechanical characteristics of the wire.
Q:Where can I purchase small wire of a large quantity that is similar to wire on cellular phone chargers?The wire im looking for needs to handle no mare than 12 volts.

Q:Hey I have a standard Epiphone Les Paul, and I just bought some brand new Burstbucker pickups online. The one's I bought haven't arrived yet but in the picture, it looks like there is only 1 wire coming out of each pickup. When I take my wire cover off, i can see 1 wire comes out, but it's really 2 wires insulated to look like 1. What can I do so that I can put these expensive pickups in my guitar??
The two wires inside the larger one coming out of your current pickup represent hot and sheild. The hot wire is the signal and the sheild is a negative or ground wire that is connected to a piece of foil that is wrapped around the inside of the wire. This eliminates most of the hum that may be generated over the wire and is called sheilding. The Burstbucker has a hot and a sheild also, however it is made to look like a vintage pickup and the single wire in the middle is hot and the metal braid around the outside is the sheild. You should connect the wire to the same tang on the volume pot that the old pickup was attached to. The braid should be attached to the back of the pickup.
Q:i have 2 audiobahn 12s and an adiobahn amp in my 2000 malibu...1. the thin blue wire that comes from the amp to the stereo is connected to an orange wire behing the (stock) stero, and when i turn off the car the amp stays on. does anyone know which wire to connect the blue wire to, so the amp turns off with my radio or when i turn off the key.2. only one of my 12s is hitting, i think ther might be a wire connected wrong behind the stero. since i have a stock stereo and i have a converter hooked up, because it had no rca inputs on it. its not the speaker or the rca wire itself, because when i connect it with a y cable to the amp one or the other will work...i would appreciate it if someone could help.
you have the amp connected to a hot all times wire, you need to switch it to a hot with ignition wire so amp will power down with key off, most of the time red is always hot and yellow is switched, orange is dimmer usually, blue or blue and white is usally the amp signal wire, try changing it to hook it up to the power ant out from your head unit if you have a power ant. or use the cd changer input if your head unit has it, usally blue as well.
Q:If you hang a pot-plant with mass of 8kg from two lengths of wire attached to a horizontal beam 100cm apart. The wire on the left has a length of 50cm and the wire on the right has a length of 75cm.What is the tension in both wires?
The tension in both wires.? If you hang a pot-plant with mass of 8kg from two lengths of wire attached to a horizontal beam 100cm apart. The wire on the left has a length of 50cm and the wire on the right has a length of 75cm. What is the tension in both wires? In the triangle ABC, AB(c) = 100 cm, BC (a) = 50 cm and AC (b) = 75 cm 2s = a+b+c = 225 cm s = 112.5 s-a = 112.5 - 50 = 62.5 s-b = 112.5 - 75 = 37.5 s-c = 112.5 - 100 = 12.5 tan A/2 = √ {(s-b)*(s-c) / [s*(s-a)] = √ {37.5*12.5) / [112.5*62.5] A = 28.95? tan B/2 = √ {(s-c)*(s-a) / [s*(s-b)] = √ {12.5*62.5) / [112.5*37.5] B = 46.57? C = 180-28.95-46.57 =104.48? --------------------------------------... 46.57? is the angle between horizontal and 50 cm wire. 28.95 is he angle between horizontal and 100 cm P is the tension in the 50 cm wire and Q is the tension in the 75 cm wire Equating the horizontal components of the tensions P cos 46.57? = Q cos 28.95 ? P = Q cos 28.95 ?/ cos 46.57? P = 1.27 Q-------------------1 Equating the sum of the vertical components of the tensions to the weight of the pot P sin 46.57? + Q sin 28.95 = 8*9.8 N 0.73P + 0.48 Q = 78.4N 0.73(1.27 Q) + 0.48 Q = 78.4N Q = 55.72 N and P = 70.76 N ============================= Or use Lamis theorm Angle between P and Q = 104.48? Angle between P and the pot = 90 + 46.57? Angle between Q and the pot = 90 + 28.95 By Lamis theorm P/ cos 46.57? = 78.4/ sin 104.48? P = 55.67 N and Q = (78.4/ sin 104.48? ) cos28.95 = 70.85N ====================================
Q:And i am unsure on how to wire the speakers. Do i just splice the wires from the speakers to the corresponding wires on the harness. P.S. It is not actually in a boat, it will be connected to a 12v battery.
U JUST RUN THE HOT(RED) WIRE TO THE BATTERY. U ALSO MIGHT HAVE TO HOOK UP THE MEMORY WIRE(YELLOW WIRE) AND THE REMOTE ( SOLID BLUE) WIRE TO THE POSITIVE TERMINAL OF THE BATTERY AS WELL BEACAUSE SOME RADIOS WONT TURN ON WITHOUT THESE WIRES COONECTED. THE WHITE AND GREY WIRES ARE THE FRONT AND THE GREEN AND PURPLE ARE THE BACK SPEAKERS. YOU SHOULD GET THE WIRING HARNESS FOR THE WIRING IF ITS GOING IN A CAR LIKE A JEEP THEN ALL U GOTTA DO IS MATCH THE COLORS UP ITS EASY . BUT STRAIGHT TO A BATTERY DO IT THAT WAY JUST MAKE SURE U HAVE A GOOD GROUND.
Q:my rabbit is chewing wires and in one area in my room there are like 300 wires i was just wondering if i can spray something on the wires cause i thought i saw something that said that please help!!!!

Q:I am in the middle of changing my thermostat and I am so lost on where the wires go! Anyone who knows anything please help.My old system was labeled and hooked up like this:White Wire (W)Red Wire (R)Blue Wire (B)Green Wire (G)Now I am looking at my new system and these are the spots that I have:(G) (RH)(RC)This has a red wire attached like a jumper wire(Y/O) (W/B) (Y1)What wires do I plug into where? Please re-post with the wire color next to where it should go.
red wire to stat rh and rc. keep jumper in white wire to w/b green wire to g blue wire to y1 if your ac does not come on when called for, put blue wire on y/o. your blue wire is your cooling wire, nowadays we use yellow, but blue is used by old schoolers and retro fits.
