Specification:

1. The rated voltage of the wire should equal to or higher than the rated voltage of the system when wires are used at AC system.

If the wires are used at DC system, the rated voltage of system should be lower than 1.5 times as high as rated voltage of cable and wire.

The working voltage of the system could be 1.1 times as high as the rated voltage of the cable.

2. The long term working temperature of electric wire should be less than 70 degree.

And the long term working temperature of RV-90 electric wire should be less than 90 degree.

And the laying temperature should be higher than 0 degree.

3. The curve diameter of the wire should be longer than 8 times of the diameter of the outer diameter of cable and wire, if their outer diameter is 25 mm or above.

If the diameter of cable and wire is above 25 mm, the curve diameter should be at least 12 times of the outer diameter of the cable and wire.

Q: Hi I have a 94 Cadillac Deville 4.9L and im trying to figure out with cable on my alternator is the power cable and which one is the ground. I have included a pic to help.
The power cable is the fat one.
Q: I have a 2003 hyundai tiburon and need to know where in the firewall should i drill my hole to run the power cable i know it goes throught the firewall but where if you have ever done this to a tiburon please let me know.
There should already be a hole there.
Q: I am trying to hook up a LCD display (CPU Temp, USB's in use, Memory Temp/usage, etc) and It came with a 5pin DIN connector for what I assume is the power. I am not sure what I need to do to connect it to the PSU. Any help or ideas?
the connectors are color coded and monitor cables are usually blue so hook it up to the blue connector on the back of the computer.
Q: Hi! I want to buy I new Hard Drive but I've got a problem. I have the IDE conector but I don't have the Power Cable. It is connected to my Video Card. Can I add a new one? Can I use a power cable from a optical drive(CD/DVD)? Thanks!
All you need to do is pop down to your local computer store and get a power splitter, just make sure you get the right type, IDE and SATA drives have a different kind of power connector, so just make 100% sure before you buy!
Q: Hifor the last days a strange thing happened. Every time I start my PC it say no video input and there is just black screen. The mouse and the keyboard is dead too. but every fan in the chase works. BUT when I unplug the power cable from the power supply and then plug it back again after 2 seconds the PC starts again without a problem. Anyone knows what is the thing that cause such a problem?THanks for the help!
your computer might have a virus. Try doing full scan in your computer using your antivirus. If you dont have any computer antivirus, then try using Avira Free Antivirus. Get avira free antivirus from its official website only.
Q: I was replacing the hard drive of my desktop computer but now I don't know where the cable [see picture] fits. it obviously goes somewhere since the computer does not turn on now. The Hard Drive is SATA if relevant. Thank you!
That's the main power connector for the motherboard. It probably plugs into that white socket behind it on the board, but check the motherboard manual to make sure you put it in the right place. It's pretty hard to plug things into the wrong place most of the time, but check to be sure.
Q: if we provide power through power cable will there be need of extra capacitor near load?
Yes, if you are talking about a bypass capacitor. Electronics always requires a bypass capacitor near the circuit/IC. Having one at the end of a cable means the cable inductance is in series, and the impedance seen by the IC power supply leads is inductive and high instead of the needed low impedance that a local bypass cap provides.
Q: Can I use 300 v power cable on a cx500?
The volt is not a unit of power. As the voltage supply in any country is 100V-240V then your cable is o.k. The important thing is the gauge ie the current (Amps) it can carry. As the mains power circuits in most countries is fused at 13Amps - 16Amps your cable has to be safely above that Amps are the thing that will cause a cable to overheat and catch fire Therefore check the gauge of you cable
Q: in my efforts to make everything as simplified as possible (lazy) im looking for a 25' or longer sata cable (also if there is an extension to the power cord thats used to power a cd drive in a desktop) trying to mount the cd drive all the way on the other side of the room (5ft away lol) so that i dont have to get up to change dvds. id mount it to the dvd shelf which is next to the sofa.
No go: What is the maximum length of a SATA data cable? 1m for SATA I, 2m for SATA II The exercise will be good for you. Maybe you have a wife, or a sister?
Q: My power cord for my computer and all usb cables i have seen have these cylindrical things on them. What do they do?
Those are called ferrites. You can learn more about them from a company called Fair-rite (I put their link down below). A ferrite is really nothing more than a magnet, but one specially tuned depending on the frequency of signal running down the cable, or the current if the cable is a power cable. Electro magnetic interference (EMI) is all around us, especially with all the electronic devices we have running in the modern home. EMI flies through the air and, when it contacts something metalic, it runs along that metalic line. In the case of a cable, imagine the clean signal picking up fuzz as it runs down the line. That's pretty much what happens. A ferrite stops the fuzz from getting through to the end of the cable, thus making the signal much cleaner when the end device gets to it. On a power cord, the ferrite helps prevent too much EMI from leaking out at the end and interfering with the device that the power is for. I should mention that a ferrite is always optional on a line, in other words the cable will work without one. However, ferrites aren't expensive and they do help with the signal, so most companies will just add one on to the product just in case.
