Q: how do you remove tabasco from carpet ?
Try Shaklees Nature Bright it works soo well i have white carpet and its still white becuase of this stuff the best thing is that its not harmful to you becuase it contains no chemicals…
Q: I have a wool rug that I left in my garage for many years. Because of that it has developed a musty smell from the humidity. It doesn't have mildew, just a funky smell. What can I do to get rid of it? Thanks.
Take it outside let it air out- try spraying with white vinegar.
Q: Me couple of friends are looking to get carpet to do up a quot;cubby housequot;. Crap carpet seems to be 90 to 100 dollars per broadloom metre new. Obviously it does not have to very good quality. Is there any wayyy cheaper solution to this? (South of Perth, Western Australia)
you can get carpet way cheaper then that in NSW - Tell them to shop around in WA Otherwise just buy off cuts or ask carpet retailers if they have any orders that were not purchased - they usually do have cancelled orders - try that
Q: While yard-selling I came into a massive 9 by 7 grizzly bear rug with wavy blond hair in perfect condition for 20 dollars. Of course, I bought it. It's completely real, there is even a mole or two on the hyde if you look close. A good friend says they go for around 10,000 dollars. How much do you think, and where would I go to sell it?
I prefer my animals alive, and I know many people find the idea of having such an item abhorrent, but for $20 I'd grab it. Probably not the best time to try to sell it; people are tight with their cash and aren't buying toys. Live with it awhile. I used to have a goatskin rug that was pretty cool.
Q: I have a smallish (3ft by 5ft) area rug that needs to be cleaned. It's not worth enough to pay a cleaner and I have hardwood floors so I'm not trying to rent a steam cleaner. I was thinking about using a clothes line between two trees and hosing it down real well with a pressurized garden hose... I have tried vacuuming and quot;beatingquot; the rug with a stick, but there is a dingy coloration that I think needs water/washing to get it looking nice. I wasn't going to use any detergents, just water and a scrub brush then let it air dry for a day or so. Does this seem like at least a semi-good idea? I'll sooner throw the rug out and spend money on a new one than spend money cleaning this one. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Q: What should be done if the carpet has water in and smell sour?
It is recommended that the carpet be washed with the washing liquid, and then exposure to air dry.
Q: What's the difference between a car's original car carpet and a 3D stereoscopic mat sold outside?
For 3D foot, three-dimensional high side - to prevent dirt pollution outflow, car carpet; increase the overall shape of beauty; special non slip reinforcing sheet design -- to extend the driving seat pad durability design; according to the bottom plate of a vehicle body shape, three-dimensional high side protection, more considerate; rinse, dry quickly, can finish with a vacuum cleaner, cleaning more convenient;
Q: The lid wasn't screwed on all the way, and now there is a lump of it on the carpet..how can I get it out without ruining carpet!?
Nail polish remover won't work...it will just work the nail polish deeper into the carpet. However, you can usually remove spilled nail polish with scissors. Often nail polish on carpet is just on the very tips of the fibers. If this is the case you can just snip the polish off with sharp scissors. Just cut the very tips of the fibers. Work slowly. Don't cut a single millimeter more than you have to and pull up while cutting. This will help prevent divots in the carpet. Try your best to do just one or two fibers at a time...not a whole clump. And dissect the spills first by cutting them in half or thirds, so that you separate clumps. This will work unless you have already used nail polish remover and have worked the nail polish into the carpet. Also...cutting the nail polish works on shag or plush carpet, but not Berber or loopy carpet. Good luck. -
