It is possible if you take the Door off you might get it in as you will have two extra Inches and the Door wont be in your way, also if Couch is made of soft enough Material then it might Squeeze in the Door with a bit of effort. You must be careful of taking off Wrapping in the hope of getting it in Door as there will be no protection to Couch and it could get easily ripped, so it is better to leave the Wrapping on for protection and not take it off. You will have to Judge if it is worth taking the risk of taking the Wrapping off or not. Is there a possibility of a Rear Window Access to your living Room or even taking the Window out or a back Door into the Kitchen and then into living Room. Good Luck anyway. - The sofa is fine. For a shabby chic living room, choose a lot of pale colors, preferably white. The shabby chic style is light and feminine. Add some fresh flowers to the room, romantic floral painting, vintage accessories etc. If you are going for bright colors, than I would choose earth tones such as greens and blues. But hot pink would look great with brown as well. ;) Add some throw pillows to the couch, some colorful art work on the walls, an area rug, etc. Hope this helps and good luck! =)

- Hi Laura, Either way you go you will need to straighten out the sofa cover each time someone sits or plays on it. You can try to use upholstery tacks nailed in underneath the sofa to help. But honestly, it can be an endless chore! However, given the cost of sofas I would definitely cover it and protect your investment. If this is any easier a thought for you, you could just take a flat sheet and throw it on the sofa during the day when your child is up, then remove it after he has gone to bed. Child hood does have its ages and stages :o)

- Well, Homer, if this is going to be your man room I think you should decide. I guess a lot depends on the amount of room you have, too. We have a lazy boy reclining sofa and love seat that hold 5 adults, which is nice if you are having the guys or family over and a pretty big coffee table. I don't know if you want a big, old chair for yourself or not. Are you going to get leather or cloth. I want to switch to leather just as soon as I get motivated, but it won't provide as much seating, I don't think. Enjoy whatever you choose.

- Get yourself some leather dye of the same color as the sofa and apply to the affected area. After it dries use a leather conditioner and sealer.
