Q: We have a Dirt Devil vacuum currently that we've had forever. It's fantastic but I'm wanting to replace it finally. I'd like a steamer/shampooer but obviously don't need to do that weekly. Q: I need to purchase a new vacuum cleaner in the $125 - $175 price range. Does a bagless have as much sucking power? Do I have to replace filters on bagless vacs? Thanks: no but you will have to clean the filter and empty the bin after using it for about 1 hour depending on the amount of dirt you have....the filter is just like a sponge to clean it you just rinse it under water and cant use it again till it drys

Q: Vacuum Cleaners...please tell me the BEST one out there?!?!?!?: I think I have had every vacuum made at one time or another, and absolutely nothing I've had has ever compared to my new Dyson The Ball. They have numerous models so just pick the one that's best for you particular situation. It is made so well that I do not expect to ever have to replace it. Mine has amazing suction, turns and swivels to get into every nook and cranny, lightweight with a nice long extension hose. I have three indoor dogs so I use this baby all the time. It still looks brand new and spotless. Not one ounce of dust ever sticks to it as it suck it all around it. A push of the button empties it so I never have any dusty hands. I love to use it, so that's a very first for me, I always hated dragging out the vacuum. This one is not like working at all, I never break a sweat. This is one item where you really get what you pay for, and will save you tons of money in the future as well as so much frustration!!!

Q: I want a lightweight, easy to use, vacuum with good suction. Any suggestions? I don't want to spend more than 300.00. Q: I've owned a number of upright bagless vacuum cleaners, and they have all sucked (well, they've actually all stopped sucking to be precise). The Dyson claims to never lose its power, but its also 5x more expensive than the average upright. Is it worth it?: I recently bought a Hoover Fusion Cyclonic Upright Vacuum, Model U5180. It's actually proven to be 13% better cleaning than a Dyson, lasts just as long, and is only a little over $100 at WalMart. No filters, on board tools. I love it!

Q: You see - I just moved all my stuff (including the vacuum cleaner) into storage so I won't be able to do it. Eek!: you do it they do not vacuum also.. do not make the same mistake i did and walk on the carpet before it is dry if you do it will get dirty real fast...

Q: umm my gf does it all the time and idk if your suppose to: is it a vac designed to pick up liquids? if not, electric shock is a greater worry than the darn filter! or are you saying she washes the filters, and they're designed for that type of maintenance, then it would be o.k. as long as they're completely dry before they go back into the vac Filters that get wet are the perfect habitat for mold growth, so every time you vaccuum you'd be blowing mold spores all over the place--it's gonna stink, at the least! Look up the vac model and get the owner's manual form the manufacturer's web site to see what you should be doing with these filters.
