- When you wired it did you butcher the wires or use a wiring harness? With the wiring harness, everything is labeled and color coded. Match colors to the kenwood wiring harness, splice or use butt connectors, plug harness into factory harness and player, attach antenna wire and you're done! If you did butcher the wires and left enough wire, repair the harness and buy a harness kit at your local sound shop, really cheap too! Good luck!

- Soldering is by far the best method of connecting two wires. You can use the small clamp/connector methods, but they are not very permanent and tend to corrode and lose connection if ever exposed to elements or anything. If you can solder (or even try) -do it.

- Q: I was looking at the wiring of my current thermostat and I want to know why it's wired the way it is...The yellow wire was wrapped around the white terminal and the yellow terminal. And the white wire was wrapped the around the Orange terminal. The red and green wires were each wrapped around their respective terminals. And the blue wire wasn't connected to anything. Why would the electrician have wrapped the yellow wire around 2 terminals? Is that normal? Also, I tried installing a new thermostat but the heating is not working. The fan works but it just blows room temperature air. The new thermostat only had 4 terminals for R, Y, W, G. I connected the wires I had to their respective terminals. However, I think it may not be working because I have a probably have a heat pump. Any Ideas why else it might not be working? Thanks a lot!
- If you have a heat pump, then the thermostat that you currently have will not work. Otherwise, green wire to G, (fan circuit) white wire to W (heat circuit) Yellow or Blue to Y (cooling circuit) but don't hook up both. Just one or the other. Finally, Red to RC/RH (24V circuit). Make sure on your furnace control board that it is wired the same as your T-stat. Good luck.
- Q: im installing an amp and i have no clue what to do with thw power wire.... I read to cut open my steros power wire (usually the blue) and wrap my power wire around it... I found the blue wire but there was a tag... Caution Remote output only... This is not the wire for power supply. please connect this wire to the remote for the amplifier... Does this mean i just connect this wire directly to my amp?
- ok wait hold up. so the only wire that should be hooked from the amp to the headunit is your speaker wires, remote turn on wire, and your rca cables. ....What you need to do is get the power cable(usually red) run it from positive on the battery to the POS on your amp. next put your ground wire from the GND on the amp to bare metal on your cars chasis.

My fuel pump went so i purchased a new one. i did not know that the company changed the wiring on the fuel pump..all the wires are 2gether in the wiring harness and all i have to do is cut off the old harnss and wire the new one in its place. - Take the black wire that is coming in to the box and pig tail 2 short pieces of wire (keep the wires the same color throughout as in use black wires to connect to black wires and white wires... )to it using a wire nut. Do the same to the white wire. For the green wire you will need to do the same if it is a plastic box or add 3 wires if it is a metal box. For the black connect 1 each of the pig tails to the brass screw for each receptacle. For the white do the same except go to the silver screws. For the ground 1 wire goes to the green screw on each receptacle and if required 1 goes to the box itself.
